I just wanted to say thank you to you all.

I have very recently discovered this website and the forums. I did a Tesco online shop yesterday which came today and the total shop was £107, using discount codes etc and bogof my total spend including delivery was £65 so thank you all very much. I even bought a organic veg box to celebrate.

This site is great and all you mse's are my new saviours, I am adopting my daughter in 7 weeks and will be doing everything I can to keep costs low but have a great time while we get to know each other.

Tesco codes are now being targetted codes sent to people are being matched to the e-mail address they where sent out to this way they can stop the code being used by others.

The only codes that can be used by anyone are the ones sent out by tesco to all customers ie the same code.

Codes are often targetted each and every month there is a new code whichis tragetted, however for each targetted one there is one that we can all use.

XXCRDJ - what is that for?

I have used three codes in two days which have not been sent to me.

Do you mind if I ask a question about the codes etc..

Whilst doing the shopping yesterday there were a few codes that I tried that I couldn't use together but that were banked for me.

Does that mean that on the next shop they will automatically be added or do I have to choose to use the vouchers? Also, as I tried lots of codes that were unavailable will this block my account or anything sinister or do they take no notice of the previous attempts at code inputting?

Sorry to ask something that has probably been asked numerous times before, but any help would be gratefully appreciated

You will see those 'banked' codes the next time you check-out (and click on redeem vouchers) - then just use the one that suits you most.

Also, they don't appear to 'monitor' accounts that have tried to use codes unsuccessfully. I'm sure they could if they wanted, but essentially it's all automated, so it's just a case of... Computer Says No!

Hi Ophie,
If its possible to use a banked code on your next order then it will happen automatically. If you do not wish to apply it, then you can use the "remove" button to save it for later.

As far as I know you can try hundreds of codes unsuccessfully and no record is kept of this so don't worry.

You're welcome to make whatever questions you like, however simple or obvious it may seem. We're a friendly lot so if there's anything ese that you want to know just ask!

Could anyone tell me if you can use different named clubcard deals with the open university and NEC courses.

I have my partners which are registered to our address and was hoping to put them with mine. Has anyone done the same and does it work okay? Thanks in advance......:dance:
