How can you use the codes, are they just for online shopping? Don't they scan a voucher at the till?
    Thanks.
  • Hi, i am new to shopping online at tesco, got the codes, did the shop brilliant all worked fine, only a couple of weeks later tesco phoned me up wanting to know where i got my code for free 1000 points when i spent over a certain amount, as it was basically classed as fraud, she informed me that they may take back these extra points from my tesco account, she pointed out that they were only to be used by the person who they were originally sent to, and if i had bought it from ebay i would be in trouble, was a bit shocked really!,I managed to keep my points but she scared me a bit, i have my telephone with them, credit card, bank account home insurance, looking into car insurance just for the sheer fun of collecting points, if they phone again i think i will just go back to asda!, its there loss more than mine really, i presumed like most people that thats why these vouchers are out there to be used, if they wanted them to be used by only 1 person in the modern age we live in i am sure they could manage it,!!
Anybody else had a phone call!?!

i just get the following message:
"Sorry, the code ‘TDRX-BTS10’ could not be accepted as you do not qualify for this promotion. Tip: Please ensure that your account has your most up to date Clubcard details set in the ‘My Account’ section to ensure that we verify your details correctly. Ref: EC1007"

Very strange for you to get such a call when you are so new to home shopping, I personally have never had any of these nasty call's and to be honest I am ready when they question the codes I use.

A simply you sent it to me or my wife and I taken note of it to use at a later date.

I would not worry about this at all.

So go ahead and use them

good heavens, I'm gobsmacked! I ordered a wine order and a grocery order both to be delivered today in the same time slot.
When it was delivered (together by the same driver) I was grumbling to myself about having to pay two delivery charges when low and behold, next minute Tesco rang and said because I'd had them delivered together they'd refund the delivery charge for the groceries! :j
