I've just successfully used XGVQH2YZJKMF for £5 off a £50 grocery shop, which I picked up from page 70, meaning I've yet to do a weekly shop without some kind of voucher code after nearly 2 years of shopping online with Tesco.

I'm not totally surprised that Tesco may be clamping down as there has been widescale abuse of the scheme with multiple account registrations for the one address - often in names which don't exist in the household, pets' names, etc.), some of which can be witnessed on the other Tesco thread. Unfortunately, this has led to the current situation where ultimately everybody misses out.

Sorry to blab on on the "No chat" thread but I did want to highlight a code that is still active for anyone who may not have already used it.

Don't worry about chatting on a no chat thread - its not like we can share any voucher codes!!:rotfl:

As this thread has been going soooooo long and the expirery dates are mostly for last year do you think we could start one for codes valid for 2008.
    Happy New Year

Good Idea - new thread for 2008

    yes please! :T
  • I've been reading all this with interest as I too have been having my shopping delivered using codes for a number of years and am now fed up with Tesco as I can't get any codes to work.

By pure coincidence I have been sent some codes by Ocado so get ordering! It says:

    "Save £30 off your shopping.

We're offering all Waitrose and John Lewis customers £10 off your first 3 shops over £90. Go to Ocado.com and register.
Book an order before 29/02/2008 and start shopping. Enter the relevant code in the Ocado vouchers and coupons box.

    1st shop: VOU6346236
    2nd shop: VOU6432201
    3rd shop: VOU6486232

Click "add" and £10 will automatically be deducted from the bill."

Maybe after a few weeks of not using Tesco and with a few trips to Morrisons/Asda/Sainsburys too, they might start sending out a few codes.

Not working now. Im afrraid not 1 code on here is working(including ones just posted above).Unless you are new i would not bother even trying.
The codes are over (as are probably a fair few peoples custom !)
  • A part of me will be quite relieved if there are no more vouchers as I will no longer be tempted to use Tesco. Deliveries are late more often than not and they are charging more for their 2 hours delivery slots, than most of Ocado's & Sainsbury's one hour slots.

I ordered from Ocado this week. They were late too - but instead of the "tough" attitude I regularly received from Tesco customer service, I had a sincere apology, the delivey charge refunded and a bottle of wine & £5 vourcher for my next order. The order was also well packed - whereas with Tesco, regardless of my preference for a with bag delivery, often comes with at least 1 bagless crate and lots of bags with only 1 item in them.

Without the additional money off or points vouchers - life is simply to short to wait, usually more than 2 hours, for Tesco to come.

On their website at the moment:

Buy any 5 or more Pampering products carefully selected below and receive an extra 300 Clubcard points, worth £12 in Clubcard deals.
    Terms and Conditions
    • You must order at least 5 different products from the list of 25 to qualify.
    • If we have to offer a substitution for a qualifying product you will still receive the points, unless you reject the substitution.
    • A maximum of 300 points will be awarded to each customer for this promotion.
    • Offer valid on orders made between 9.00am 29th January and 11.59pm 5th February 2008.
    • Points will be credited to your account by 20th February 2008 and will appear in your May statement.
    • This offer is valid on one transaction only and can only be used once per customer.
Cheapest product seems to be £2.28 for Dove Firming Wash. So a £10 spend would net £12 of points-worth a go I think

I've had this too, BUT it does say in the terms and conditions that you have to order five DIFFERENT products.

There are four at £2.28 on the list, though. And some more at £2.48.

I struggled for a code last week and seems this is to be the norm.....I agree with all the other comments and this week will be my last tesco online shop until the codes re-appear. All they did was cover the delivery charge after all

Odd how the codes dry up at about the same time they launch a flash new look web page (just as slow and temperamental as the one before tho!) and this new page is full of "have you thought of" suggestions to tempt you to buy stuff you didn't want :D .

Come the weekend when not so pushed for time I think I'll kick start some accounts with Ocado and Sainsburys and give them the benefit of our £75 a week!!!
