  • To give Tesco the benefit of the doubt perhaps if they can save money by stopping code sharing they can be more generous with the codes they send out.

If they do then, to be honest, this is fairer as more people can benefit and not just those of us who work the system.

Lets hope they send more codes then and send them out more fairly to everyone.

I agree totally - post christmas profit taking.

Locally Tesco diesel was cheapest in the area before christmas now the most expensive in town. Even the small independants are cheaper.......

Moved to Morrisons and will stay there. Better quality and cheaper.

700 Extra Clubcard points when you spend £70 on wine or champagne. Simply enter XX-JY46,

Hope this helps someone, Dont know if it is user specific. I shall not be using it as I have had enough of T's inability to treat their customers with any respect whats-so-ever.
Would this be for wine club or for wine ordered from the general groceries section?

This is for the wine club.

Got the info from my MIL - who works for Tesco at head office. Apparently they have lost loads of money through code sharing and are trying to put a stop to it.

    Hi all
Tescos have changed their website design - anyone notice? This is all down to us lot here on MSE and all other code sites on the net!
The new site design will not allow you to use a voucher code unless it has specifically been sent to you via your registered email address or home address!!!!
Tesco customer services say that this is because the system is being abused by us! They have lost money and now need to address the problem!!!
So now unless you get the code sent specifically to you, you will be unable to use it.
So in theory this board is useless - shame it has been a godsend to me for saving money on my weekly shop. Unless of course some clever techie out there can get around it - if so let us know!!;)

i cant even use the codes that are actually sent to me!
  • I've just successfully used XGVQH2YZJKMF for £5 off a £50 grocery shop, which I picked up from page 70, meaning I've yet to do a weekly shop without some kind of voucher code after nearly 2 years of shopping online with Tesco.

I'm not totally surprised that Tesco may be clamping down as there has been widescale abuse of the scheme with multiple account registrations for the one address - often in names which don't exist in the household, pets' names, etc.), some of which can be witnessed on the other Tesco thread. Unfortunately, this has led to the current situation where ultimately everybody misses out.

Sorry to blab on on the "No chat" thread but I did want to highlight a code that is still active for anyone who may not have already used it.
