I heard and felt so much joy in that shout! :j

Actually just had a phone call offering me my first six week job teaching a three hour night class in a village 28 miles away - jumped at it! See, not even time to swill a bottle of fizz and I'm planning again.

Evening, been a nice day here bright and dry managed to get a load of washing out and dried, nmlc I know what you mean about basket never being empty, mines like the magic porridge pot, no matter how much I take out, it always fills up again.
DD is home and has had a baking marathon, house smells very nice but looks like the kitchen has been floured. We have a couple of birthdays this weekend so have cake for the birthday people.
I have been quite frugal with the utilities this winter and have just had bill and am in credit which is a first for me for winter period. Dinner tonight was whoops pasta and sauce, I dont usually buy ready made sauce but it was reduced and actually quite tasty and better and cheaper than a takeaway which we might have resorted to. DW now on, our old one gave up after 11 years just before Christmas, new one is much quieter and should be more energy efficient.
