Morning (((((((((((((((((((((((Hugs))))))))))))))))))))))) if you need one.
A lovely spring day, sun shining but still cold. The daffodils in the garden are all out and the tulips are starting to put their flower heads up.
Off to my quilting friends this morning for chat, tea and cake!!0 -

Enjoy the fizz when you get the chance.
Have three of my DDs and SIL visiting at the weekend while oldest is in hospital. Stripped two double beds and two big loads of washing are on the line outside.
So frazzled I could not open the washing machine door and DH had to help
Hoping there might be a phone call re DD so staying home and will shop later for a special recipe or two I want to make at the weekend.
Want to hoover bedrooms then make up a special carpet cleaner and apply to at least one bedroom carpet to freshen it up before sorting out fresh bedding and towels.
Made me a DH a cooked breakfast and will check freezer for meat or fish for tonight.
Will visit DD late afternoon with fresh clothes etc but can't seem to get myself into gear. Still tired and worried which does not help.
Hugs to all"This site is addictive!"

bit like me with me bright eyeshadow. At 52 myself I wonder if I can still pull it off without looking like mutton dressed as lamb. This one I need to see in the flesh as it has those stripes that go over the top of it IYKWIM and body graphics. I am worried it will look a bit boy racerish and I am 52!!! I wonder if I need to blend in a bit more.
Seriously though, don't let the stripes put you off if its a good car. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Lovely bright sunny day here today, which always lifts the spirits

Went to Aldi this morning and am fuming, once again their produce shelves were empty because the delivery was late :mad:
Not bothering to go back I will get my stuff from the market tomorrow.
I have just had a strange telephone call from theGP surgery to say that the hospital called them and I have to be referred to a consultant because of the swelling in my legs????? But first I have to see the GP for a referral.
The swelling has been going on for years and nothing has ever been done about it !!!!!!?
Then I got a letter for the diabetes clinic and am really angry about that because it is for the dietician and nurse not the consultant who I wanted to see :mad:
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh
Think I will just go back to bed
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Hi everyone did my last shop this month, and am pleasantly happy with the amount I had left afterwards for a change I used my W8rose vouchers and only had to fork out £21.33 instead of £30.00 by the time the vouchers were knocked off the price .Got lots of nice goodies as well and 2 lots of mince and two packs of lamb burgers and two lamb chops (one was a reduced Barnsley chop) so a decent meal there and a couple of bangers reduced as well
I seem to have got lots of dinners for quite a good price which has pleased me no end .All my shopping bought now and accounts closed for March with £19.04 left over to go into my holiday account
:):):) I am a very happy lady at the moment,Just going to have a cuppa then off to history club and the 'Mary Rose' this afternoon
DD's charity walk tomorrow, I saw her last night and she has got bandages to wrap between her toes as she is developing blisters from her training. He little Jack Russell Lexi is walking with her tomorrow ,but the older bigger dog won't as its too far for him and his bones are like mine ,not in very good condition.
The little dog did just under 6 miles the other day with DD and was still pulling to walk ,she loves walking and is great company for DD when in training.
I shall be at the finishing line with doughnuts and Lucozade for her when she gets there tomorrow around 2.00. I am so proud of her, and everyone in the area are all doing their bit for little Ruby Laura to raise the cash for her treatment. So far just under £200k has been raised since Christmas. so if you live in the Medway Rainham/Chatham/Rochester area and you see a lady with her 'Ruby' tee shirt and her little dog Lexi (DD is putting a red bow on Lexi to show support) walking along tomorrow from Rainham to Rochester please give them both a pat on the back
:):)
Have a great afternoon chums and keep warm as that wind is a bit nippy even though the sun is out

Been breezy but bright here today so got four loads of washing done and out on the line, dried it all in time. Re-made the bed, cleaned the house through, had a nice hot shower and a pamper me time.
Fed up with the amount of flipping leaflets coming through the door for take-aways and I refuse to go anywhere near anything that says Halal take-away on it full stop :mad: the recycling bin is full nearly every fortnight and allot of it is this flipping junk carp coming through the door. I literally pick it up from the front door and walk it out the back door to the blue bin without stopping en route.
Pleased with what i have done today. Forecast is for gale force winds over the weekend - only thing left to do is polish the brass - and I will do that tomorrow.
Butterfly brain - get onto your GP and have it out with them as to what is going on. I swear it never used to be as bad as this ten years ago with hospitals and GP's!Cat, Dogs and the Horses are our fag and beer money

Almost exactly that. Usually a waste of time as you're about to go out the door, however I got to choose who did it with me and my choice was neither my direct line manager or hers...so I was able to be totally frank and content that it would be taken further.
Didn't have Buck's Fizz, it was tempting but I resisted. Will wait until later today.
The weather forecast for here is completely dire again for the weekend and next week. I've got family coming across from Germany for the week...hope the plane lands ok.
Haven't done much with my day, emptied the car of all my stuff from the office and my mums house. Now got to find a home for it all. Maybe tomorrow.0
