Moneybot if you read my posts I have stated tht I am enjoying the actual entering of the comps and the anticipation, and others have contributed to that in no negative way at all. I do NOT expect to win constantly, in fact I don't even hope to win constantly. I love reading of other peoples' wins, and genuinely wish everyone luck! I was merely making conversation really. I apologise for doing so. I honestly believed, reading all the lovely posts on here, that this was a very friendly and welcoming site. As I am new, I don't really know anyone here yet so don't know if I have anything in common with anyone, so I thought this might be a good place to start. I guess I thought wrong.

I have read of quite a few people saying they enter between 100-200 per day and, until I'd read these, it hadn't even really crossed my mind that it would be possible to win a couple of times a week. I was maybe thinking I might have the odd small win once every 6 months or so, when I first started comping.

Well your attitude towards comping is great from what I can see, gotta keep that positivity going! I don't really enter very many outside of twitter, so I count myself to be very lucky that I seem to get a couple or few wins a month. You'll get there, believe me. I used to think I wouldn't do very well, but I've ended up doing a lot better than I thought! So just keep trying I guess; like others have said, it may take a while. But then it's almost the end of the month, which can only be positive as lots of comps are ending. Hope you get a win then! And good luck!

EDIT: Also just wanted to say it becomes a lot better morale wise once you've had a few wins, because at that point you know it's entirely possible that you will win at one point or another. If you're new, there is always that uncertainty around it (well for me there was) of whether it's really possible. Well, there you go!

It's great that you get some good wins from twitter, I know it can be hard. That's where I managed to get my first win.

Hi Lucy,

Just keep at it and the wins will come Lots you have entered will not have been drawn yet. You have a good attitude and it's nice to see you enjoying comping. Enter and forget and keep going. Personally I wouldn't bother with tracking how many you have entered, but I would recommend recording everything that you win, no matter how small. That helps keep me motivated Also don't be put off by meet and great/personal consultations etc they tend to get less entries and are great fun. Good Luck BH xxx

Thanks BH. I do tend to just enter and forget so it will be a massive surprise if/when I do win. Also I don't even look at the ones with a passed end date so I don't dwell on what I've missed

I've found myself getting a little bit excited for the next week in the hope that the end of month mass of draws will be lucky for me, had to bring myself back down to reality lol.

For info.
One prize I won was notified within a week of it being drawn. Waited 3 months for it to actually arrive.
Another prize was notified 4 months after it was drawn but it arrived in less than a week.
So just because the end date has been and gone does not mean a flurry of winning emails comes your way.
And of course the odd prize simply never makes it to you despite your best efforts.
