Ford Mondeo Mk4 2008
I have fitted fog lights to my Mondeo MK4 1.8 TDCI. The car did not have them fitted as standard but the wiring was on the car , I also fitted a fuse in the box in the passenger footwell and changed the light switch but the foglights still don't work . Can anyone offer any advice to get them working.

There's probably a relay needed too.0

Do you need front fog lights?0

might get foggy , or maybe for looks0

Ive only used front fogs once in the fog and found them to make visability worse.0

If you do get then working can you please restrict their use to the one or so days a year they are needed and not just leave them on to blind us all. Thanks.0

I pass many cars each morning with front fogs on. Is it a new 'thing'? Like starting a sentence with so?0

On my Mazda6 it is not possible to have the rear fogs on without the fronts. Not the greatest piece of design IMO.0

Surely if it's foggy enough to warrant having your rear foglights on, you'll also need your fronts on too?0

Fog lights are only fitted to the rear.
Front are "driving lamps"
If set correctly they spread a low wide beam to light up the edge of the road and can be quite useful on dark country roads.I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -
Illegal to have front fog lamps on when visibility is not seriously reduced. Who says they are driving lamps?0
