Does anyone know of any cookers that connect via a standard 13 A socket rather than a hardwired 32A circuit?
I need a free standing cooker in a 600mm space.
The only one I've found is an Everhot 60, which is quite expensive.

Think you'll be struggling to find an alternative to be honest.
The majority of free standing cookers need the 32A supply because the cumulative loading of hobs and oven require more than a plug top can handle. About the only one I know of is a Baby Belling !You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0

This is the one that I'm looking at getting for the same reason:

Not sure if you require dual fuel though?0

Thanks hanfrangipane but I need electric only.
There's a few that claim class A efficiency and if you add up the kW they should cope with less than 13A but they haven't down graded their electrical input requirements0

Ah that's a shame. Even for dual fuel there aren't many around and as I'm doing the kitchen on a budget I don't fancy faffing with electrical stuff! The current 70s configuration in my place is just an electric hob and separate oven plugged into two sockets0

Maybe I've got the sums wrong but there's roughly 3kW from 13A, 1kw for an oven and 1.7kw for the hob.
Maybe it's 1.7kw for each ring on the hob though.0

You can get a hob http://www.kitchenappliances123.co.uk/shop/pc/Siemens-EH631BA68B-60cm-wide-4-Zone-Induction-Hob-with-13A-Plug-p8884.htm and a single oven, but for a full cooker, 13Amp wont cut it.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

I had a 13 amp cooker but it wasn't possible to use the rings while the oven was on.0
