Smartie - yeah but how happy will he be with a toy (Boots sale of course) and a milkshake as bribery? :-)

Lol! I'll have to discuss it with him! Probably be hitting the shops on the 16th (thurs?) in the morning. Don't know what time my coach leaves... sometime in the afternoon I think, so will hopefully have a few hours! It's an organised coach trip from my part of the world - we're watching Grease on the Weds evening! Staying in the Riverbank Park Plaza, Albert Embankment.

Just a quickie Sales post I guess..

Whetstone(London) had a few nice items in the sale inc. the Cordless Hair Straightners RRP £99 - I paid £24 for them :D, they also had the pink babyliss straightners reduced to £40, monkey foot massager - £10, there was also a lot of fragrances... I pikced up a Diesel Red for £10.

And in Colney Boots: There wasn't much electrical, quiet a few photo frames, and lots of fragrances again... I picketd up a Dior Addict - £10 and Versace - £10

    hooray!

The only down side is that my Adv Card is rubbish and never gives me any vouchers, I emailed CS but they fob me off with "stats decide what vouchers you'll receive"... I'm always in boots so that makes no sense :(

  • Good afternoon everyone

Has anyone received their pigsback points from July's triple points event yet, because I haven't received mine yet? maybe it's too much to ask as Pigsback take ages, why can't they be more like Quidco

    Thank you

This is a bit geeky, but interesting to hear Boots take on the Advantage card and how they think customers feel about it.

I like the bit where he says they know which cardholders are new mums/over 60's :rotfl: . Hope he doesn't read this thread!

    Please can anybody help???
I have 2 cards mine and husbands, my card gets offers on it from ACM no problems, but on 2 seperate occasions I have put husbands card in and it says 'no offers available at this time'. I understand we all get different offers from ACM but never known it to say none at all!!!!
I asked SA and she was as baffled as me!

Funny enough my hubby's card nearly always does that. It is quite a new one, early this year, while mine is ancient and I get the offers.
He gets annoyed, bless him, as he is saving points too and I have to give him some of my vouchers, lol.;)

The next no7 special edition compact/pallete(from 14 august) will be a vintage inspired pallette for autumn-with eye/lip &shimmers in 50's inspired pastel shades.Sounds very intresting as this seasons is a return to the glamourous looks.
