Had a good shop today :) despite being served by a very moody SA (in transaction 1) I spent ages looking for stuff to buy and had all my vouchers ready, but she refused to take most of them :( tried to use 300 time delay voucher + 5.00 skincare voucher on time delay balm@8.50 which would have left 50p to pay, but SA said I could only use 1 voucher, so I said I'd leave it........then, I remembered the time delay facial pamper kits on the sale shelf @ 4.98, so dashed upstairs and grabbed 3. They all went through with the my 3 x 5.00 skincare vouchers...so free!!!!!!! picked-up my digi photos @3.00 - 2.00 photo voucher. Paid 1.00 + used 200points voucher. Also bought 2x always @ 2 for 2.00 and used 100points parenting voucher. soft and gentle deodrant on special offer - 75p mailing voucher, paid 37p SA would not take my 50p internet voucher. She said I had to buy two products if I wanted to use both vouchers. What's everyone else getting with the skincare vouchers? I've still got 2 more to use, as I found 2 on the floor this morning :)

that was a really clever thing, sally06... going over the £2 limit and paying something to be able to get the 200 points... I wish I had read that before. I used all my vouchers today and tried to get the 200 points acm, but the till beeped... still, I got 6x10 photos for free.

Hi, has anyone phoned a store before to check whether they stock something slightly obscure? in my case it's a memory stick micro... I've got a lots of points and would really like to treat myself to this.
Any clues? Phone a big store, phone CS?
    Thanks.

If you phone CS they'll be able to do a stock check for you at your local stores. And even if a local one doesn't have it, you can arrange to get it transferred to your local store for collections. I have done this a few times in the past with no problems.

  • Another glitch found! :T

Till takes off both the £3 stop smoking coupon, and the £5 skincare voucher! So only £1 to pay :D

And for the over 60's, the 10% too, so only 10p to pay  .

Town centre branch has reduced sales stuff by 50% : so the soap that didn't sell at Xmas that they were asking £3 is now £1.50 - and they still have loads of it!
On the 'real' reduced shelves there are now LOTS of Soltan fake tan stuff, and some very scruffy make up, all labelled £1.50. Got some halloween costumes (vampire capes) for £1 instead of £4 -DD insists she can use them at college, even though they are for children. Also, swimming goggles were marked as £5 but went through as £1.50, so went back for 2 pairs.

No 7 GWP is great and has a 250 pts voucher 'if you buy any cosmetic, skincare or suncare product from No7', so really useful. The make-up bag is very good quality too!

  • went to boots in london colney today and the SA and the manager refused to honour the 1/2 marked price promotion on red stickered sales goods! i was not impressed! although the items were only a £1 each it's the principle!

called up CS today and told them and the lady gave me 750 points! so i ended getting back £5 (only spent £2.50!):rotfl:

got...ROC fort lip lotion £1 (should have been 50p)
Eylure Brow Smooth £1 (should have been 50p)
Ruby & Millie lip liner 50p!

They had lots of green back to school bags upstairs by the pharmacy.

Watford had few bits and pieces...bought baby wipes (144) for 80p!:T
