not very good at Bootsing yet but trying!
Went to large store yesterday - very nice staff
SA gave refund for items without receipt - I bought other things and got a voucher which she then rushed over to the reduced counter and brought back a L'oreal skin care reduced to £4.80 and said I could have that free with the voucher! Thank you very much.
Then discovered another reduced bargain 25p instant toothpaste (cant remember what they are called but perfect for son who is off travelling) - took to till - another nice sa said "these are on 3 4 2 would you like some more" Yes please

Sa's obviously very nice in Wales!

They had loads of the Back to School Green Bags in the Glasgow Sauchiehall Street Branch.

In a big display next to where the queue is at the Pharmacy Counter.

going to manchester on friday...does anybody know where Boots is and where r the clearance shelves!!!!! :rotfl:

I have just got back from manchester boots and thankfully did not go into labour while out :j which i was ever so slightly worried about.

downstairs sale (near the sandwiches at back)-

They still have a few memory cards left (32mb &64mb both £2.49)
    some gift sets
some toiletries (including mens botanics for £1.25 so only 25p using boots magazine voucher).

    upstairs sale (scattered around) -

lots of glitter babes money boxes, board games, clocks, stationary sets & lip balm sets
    general toys

it is half the marked price upstairs. downstairs the price you see is what you pay.

another thing - walk down every aisle upstairs because unless they move it around today/tonight the sale was very scattered - i almost missed 2 full aisles.

the sale in manchester is ok if it's toys you are after. not really any bargains other than that.

I had an okay day. i got a my1st leappad and 2 extra books for £15 , a kid k'nex set for £4, glitter babes cross stitch for £1.50 & simpsons self soaping sponge&2expanding flannels for £1.25.
got a botancs postshave balm for hubby for £1.25 (but used 100point voucher).
bought 3 memory cards at £2.50 each (used 3x 500 points coupons out of machine so gained £7.50 woohoo). bought some nice baby clothes (not in sale unfortunately) wiith 20% off.
spent £30 points and £25 cash which isnt too bad.

off subject monsoon have got 70% off all sale items now so that is worth a look - i got 4 lovely tops for £40 - bargain!

hope the above helps you anyway.

I'm so happyyyyyy, my replacement AC finally arrived with my £51 of points on :D So I am off guess where this afternoon to bump it up a bit more and then treat myself to the biggest bottle of Stella EDP I can find :D

I have some things to return, just general toiletries stuff, but I want to exchange it for Clinique stuff so I can use my 750 points voucher and get the GWP, can you return normal Boots stuff to the Clinique counter or is it on a different system etc? Is the new Clinique GWP nice? I really wanted the old one with the bag cos I wanted to try out all the Oily skin products :(

Went into Cannock Boots this lunch time and they have got loads of the green "Back To School" bags just by the pharmacy counter, even the SA's didn't know they were there (They didn't have a clue what I was talking about when I asked about them:confused: )

Is Thursday usually the day for the next round of reductions in Boots?

I was convinced I'd pick up lots of things I've got my eye on, but there's nothing reduced further yet.
