Just wondered if anyone uses a boots in wolverhampton? or merryhill (dudley)?

If so, are they having a 90% of sale thing?

lollyred1 - this is just a suggestion as it's not my home area, but last time I was down in Torquay, the big new Boots on the retail park by Sainsburys and M&S had a large reduced section, so that might be one to phone and ask if they've got sale goodies.

I went to Gloucester today (keeping my eyes peeled for anyone MadJen-ish-looking, but no clue  ) and managed to buy nothing... I did pick up some nice but not cheap bits of Time Delay and carried them all round the store but ended up talking myself out of them and putting them back. I also had a handful of sale goods but couldn't quite convince myself I needed them at the price (all of them were white stickered rather than red - as was the chocolate - boo.)

But I bobbed into the retail park branch on the way home and the TD shelves were just being restocked so I was able to get the wipes I'd wanted all along. Not only that but I somehow managed to get 3 packs with my two vouchers as I was handed a voucher during the first transaction of no spend!

It was actually my second trip to that store today, the previous one was just a quick look along the reduced shelf, and I decided that the moment was finally right to get back-up stocks of the lovely No7 matte lip colours at the eminently reasonable 50p each.

Hehe - not the lady sitting on the floor with a perfect half-circle of suntan creams arranged in front of her as she checked them then? :)

  • I went to the Peterborough (Hampton) store tonight. They have the 90% offer on but not much left to be honest unless you want a Spa soap or FCUK self tanner! Oh or Factor 30 sun cream. I managed to get the last pack of St Tropez cleansing cloths for 50p and some FCUK face tan accelorator for 30p!

Oh they also had loads of St Tropez videos.

Went into local small store to use my coupon - found one TD item for £5.50 an hubbie needed razor blades - spend just over £5 so got given another voucher - by now you could hardly get down the isle of TD/L'oreal etc - the shelves were almost bare. Choose TD night eye cream - was £7 something but I need eye cream. Will be interesting when they shelves get restocked??

The retail park one is on a site adjacent to The Willows Retail park, but you go up the hill behind M&S and there are Boots and a few other places which in their wisdom they've called Wren Retail park instead.

Not much left in Newcastle (Tyneside) at lunch time after I left. Lots of the spa soap, Danielle Ryman, some So! and L'Aimant perfume sets, pedometers and suntan stuff, incl FCUK self tan. All the white labelled things were being reduced by the sales assistants but they were being picked up as fast as they were reduced.

Virtually all the kids stuff had gone, loads of Glitter Babes makeup sets for 30p I think, or it might have been 50p.
