My local store has signs up stating christmas gifts are 3 for 2. Does anyone know if this includes the toys yet? I did ask a SA but her English was virtually non existent and I gave up.
Thanks!!Toxic & Tired - Starting 2010 afresh :beer:0 -

Its 3 for 2 on toys and games online so I'm presuming it will be instore too.Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
Who bought all the wipes in Watford? I'm not impressed! Instead I had to buy 2x TD cleansers and 2x TD toners with my vouchers as there was nothing else under £5 in either store (oh, except for the exfoliator and I already have a No7 one that I haven't used yet). I also got a lypsyl lip balm for 50p, a hand warmer for £1.50 and hair dye for £1.34 with the ACM voucher - all from the Waterfields store. They had lots of stuff on clearance - lots of head and shoulders conditioners, and various hair dyes for £1 but sadly not in any shades that would suit me.0

Nothing really of any interest as such - I had a good look! And shelves were cleared of anything under £5 on the skincare vouchers.
Chelmer Village had those Spa soaps down to 50p but that was the only real bargain. They were well stocked other than TD face wipes on Skincare too.
Cerenia I'll have a look tomorrow @ Pucca for you. Do they do the ROC GWP set there? Haven't seen it anywhere yet.Wins since September 2011: Wedding (Worth £3500) :j Bridesmaids Headpiece (Worth £40) National Wedding Show VIP tickets (Worth £70) £100 Shopping vouchers...0 -

Got rid of my £5 vouchers today on Time Delay hand cream, eye brightner and exfoliator. I also bought 2 No7 products reduced to £2.50 each (and qualified for a another voucher). Just wondering though if the No7 stuff would they have been 342?
Thanks.

Ilford had 90% off last Tuesday. I first asked one SA about which stickers it applied to and she rudely told me she didn't know as she had only just got into work after a two week holiday  . The second SA said it only applied to the stickers that said 'clearance' and the price on it ie not the round red stickers. I argued that just a week earlier I was told the 'half stickered price' had only applied to the round red stickers. She patronised me by saying 'look it says here 'clear..ance' pointing to the board and then to the items with the 'clearance' labels on....... I picked up a few bits of toys all coming to about 17p, 25p but I didnt get time to stock up as I was getting late.
I did phone my sister in law who told her husband to go. He did two trips to the checkout as he couldnt carry everything in one go. The third trip to the sales shelf he was told 'sorry sale's over'.:rolleyes:
I don't know what their problem is. They want to shift the stuff yet they act so possessive about it. I managed to get a baby monitor down from £57 to £5.70. The SA and Manager whispered whilst serving me saying that it had been 'wrongly' stickered - get this, some items with these 'clearance stickers' also have red dots to indicate they are not further marked down (???). So after serving me, the SA went straight to the shelf to take the last monitor off. ITs like they are personally losing out or something.
In Beckton, a few weeks before I had loaded my trolley with toys etc. with these clearance stickers on only to be told by the Manager that it was the round red stickered items that were further halved at the till and that the items I had picked were so cheap anyway, how could he possibly reduce them further.
Not impressed but will carry on my Bootsing!!:j0 -

Wonder if they are on commision to be Boots Best Employee??? The sale was SO confusing. A lady the other day got that annoyed at being told one thing then another about red dots and clearance labels, the manager let her and my mum (who was an innocent sale grabbing by stander) have everything in their basket for 50p regardless of the price (:T we like managers like that!!) but the point my mum and this lady were trying to make is that it was completely unclear, and all the stuff this store were selling for £1-5 had been 50p in the Boots up the road a week before....i would say they need to get their act together...but then there would be no fun in trying things out at tills! :rotfl: Tis annoying though - i feel your pain!

That's lucky, the Manager in Beckton refused to budge, even when told him that one of his SA's had told me the further reduction applied to everything. He then asked his SA who blatantly lied. I was really annoyed and went back to the Manager before leaving the store saying that I had felt vindicated as it looked like I was lying and the SA had told the truth when he hadn't. I told him that I was a regular customer blahblah. He lightly apologised but there was no remorse or anything. I told him I had bought some of the stuff anyway, but when you have two kids under 6 see mummy put things back on the shelf after being told they can have them, it's not very nice! :mad:0
