I've just returned from two weeks in Scotland and an intensive study of Scottish Boots stores. Without a doubt Falkirk wins as I found ROC GWP's, lots of great sale deals (Elle Macpherson range is great), cheap memory cards (got one free and the other for £1.99 using ACM vouchers) gained lots of points but actually used some on a digital camera to keep my niece amused. All very good but returned home to find a bag has gone AWOL at Gatwick and my Boots purchases are lost. Absolutely gutted.... Looking forward to catching up on the good deals though. I also spotted the advert for the new No7 tins and they look great.Toxic & Tired - Starting 2010 afresh :beer:0

Have been away for a few days but before I went I was in boots with a friend. I had the 100 points off Tony n Guy and she had the 200 points. I got 2 of the 9.99 (2 for £7) hair stuff gift sets (with the 6 pots of different hair stuff) and was able to use my 100 points and her 200 points on it. So instead of it being 19.98 I got them for £7 plus 300 points
did this twice and will prob do again as my friend didn't want her acm coupons even after I showed her how good they were!!! Have got few for nephews christmas pressies and will get more for car boot that I'm doing this w/e.

I see .com have now updated the sale stuff. Alot of what was "out of stock" or saying "more stock coming soon" has vanished."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. WOW, I have been an Advantage card holder since they first came out and a member here for less than a week and have I had my eyes opened!!!
I go to the Newcastle Boots every week and have never thought of using those machines for extra points, but I will now.
I am coming up to 60 and I read here that when you reach that age you get discount on No.7, do I have to apply or is it automatic?
Also, it seems like a good idea for my husband to have his own card, is that right?
I am trying to take everything in, but if anyone could help me with any tips I would be most grateful.0 -

Welcome to the world of Bootsing :hello:
It would be a good idea for your oh to get a card. thus he can collect points and you can use his vouchers out the amc.
Im not sure about the over 60's thing but i think you may beable to join in store and then after you have joined you automatically get the discount when you go to the checkout.
One the first post there is a list of the current voucher you can get out the acm and and also a list of vouchers from the boots mag. Its also a good idea to check the first post when you want to know what offers or glitches are on etc.
If you are doing a shop on line there is also a link to codes that give you extra points."I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure.
