I went and bought a few small semi-permanent hair dye washes (50p in sale) this morning in the Kensington branch and as expected (mainly as i'd had the "luck" of getting that older grey haired woman with an inability to trust a voucher) they were each charged at 50p... didn't question it at the time as i had a couple of mins to get to work, and nkow there was mention on here of trouble with things not being 50% off sale prices unless with certain sticker.
I just phoned Boots CS to ask what the policy is, and the lovely guy said i should query it with the manager as it's all meant to be 50% off that... woohoo... now it's lunch, i'll go do that:rotfl:0 -
Took Mum on a Bootsing mission .......
Barnet - no ACM and the SA said "What sale?" when I asked where the stuff was.
Cheshunt - very little there, but got another T&G with 200pts and a couple of Botanics bits with the 100pt vouchers...but get this, one has a big red £3 sticker on so was £1.50, but the other had a £1.47 clearance sticker on it...when I got home and peeled it off, there was a red £1 sticker underneath!! Am well miffed as it should have been 50p....not a lot, I know, but it made the bargain less exciting somehow. How sad am I?
In Enfield the staff wouldn't let us near the toys until two of them had carted off huge mountains for themselves, cheeky so and so's. Got a very cute pressie for a friend's little girl reduced to a £5 and spent some of my points.
Mum is dead impressed at my Bootsing - she said she thought she was a savvy shopper, but that I had one over on her with this. :cool:0 -
Has anyone tried the Clinique GWP plus 1000 points thing yet? There was no sign of the 1000 points sign in Oxford St London boots today, just the GWP.0

I made another .com order today and got some reduced 17 make up, get cheeky (75p ish) and lipstick (80p ish)plus the £5 free gift
also managed to get a leapfrog book for £2.50 and a mini stepper for £17 ish so quite pleased with my little order, hehe.
It's been two or three days since ive been in store and im missing it! - how do people manage to go in daily without the SA's thinking they are stalking them??? i feel like the regular SAs in mine now always see me and think there she is again and im only just learning!0 -
Got great bargains today on Baby clothes. Brought items with 50% off and a futher 20%. Spent in total £14 and recieved £6.50 worth of points. Used 500 bonus when u spend £10 on baby items and then a 75 points that went through twice!! Items should have cost me over £40 so very pleased with myself at the moment! Plus my little one is going to look so cute in his little outfits!!0

What fun in boots today. First time ever I got the offer for 500 pts off memory card. Printed off 2 or 3 and the machine whirred and whirred but no vouchers appeared.Put card in again but no offer! Asked the assistand to open up the machine and loads of vouchers(not mine). She said put card in again but i told her the offer would not come up again. And it didn't. i said I really wanted that voucher can you open the machine again and have a look please. So she did and lo and behold there was my vouchers! no reduced memory cards though but I know another shop where they were reduced so will look tomoro.
What an embarassing carryon addicted or what !!travelover0 -

Also is there likely to be anymore of the out of stock things online?
Thanks in advance
hiya Racheybabe, Im from barnsley, but its ages since ive been into town. i went to Brampton last week and the sale stuff there was rubbish. managed to get some bargains in Sheffield High Street one but thats about it. The Boots on the Moor in Sheffield is also rubbish (its the one nearest to where I work) and the ACM hasnt worked in over a month! You're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -
theres a staange man hanging around in boots hanley who takes notes offers applications for advantage cards and generally has a nosy at everybody.Today he asked me if I needed help with finding anything- I declined &thought I could find things with my eyes closed here thanks very much.Anyway no new offers in the ac machine, no cheapie reduced perfumes and basically a lot of rubbish left downstairs at bizaare prices(not worth buying anyway). The clinqique gift looks appealing so may go for that.Love can tame the wildest0

in my copy of Elle magazine, its advertising a new No7 tin that comes out on 15th August. Its called "Secrets of the Boudoir" the limited edition Autumn collection, for eyes, cheeks and lips. Not a freebie by the looks of it, but looks cool all the same
I'll take a pic and edit this post when ive done it.
EDIT - here are some pics, not very good but you get the idea! You're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0
