Hi all, hope everyone is ok, just a quicke question, does anyone shop at the Barnsley boots and if so is the sale any good. Just checking before I drag the kids into town:rotfl:
Also is there likely to be anymore of the out of stock things online?

Went to Cheshire Oaks today and got xmas pressies. Got 4 Winnie the Pooh umberellas £12 reduced to £3. Jaguar aftershave for dh reduced to £2.50 and a few games (1 was £1.75) for when dd goes to parties.

Really chuffed because i got dhs mum and dad aftershave and perfume online this morning, his sisters an umberella each and his brother and brother in law Lambretta toilet bags (from Jan sale). Total was £45 should have been over £125! Just his nan and then i have finished his side of the family!Woohoo.

All my family think i am mad wherever we go i flock to Boots. Offered to pick my cousin up from work (she works near Boots) and left dd (covered in Chickenpox with mum and dad) so i could nip to Boots first!

Hi Thifty,

I took some hair straighteners back, as have a few others and never had any problem returning them. If you want to double check you could give cs a call, on the free phone number of course, and ask them.

EDITED - As you do not have the receipt they may tell you that you can only exchange for something else either that or you will get the amount back on a GC.

hi does anyone know if when something says out of stock on .com it means they will be getting more if so plan on staying at computer as DS really needs new pushchair. Thank you

Usually when something says out of stock it will come back in but it could be hours, days or even over a week. That is just my opinion if im wrong im sure someone shall correct me.

EDITED - I have now added the clinique bonus onto the first post in time for tomorrow.

I was in yesterday, got a few bits, but after I had paid & was coming out SA brought down a huge 2 tier trolley full of odds & ends - shampoo, toothpaste, combs, bobbles, deoderant, nail stuff - for pennies, she hardly had time to put them on the shelves cos folk were taking them off the trolley in handfulls.
She said they had tonnes more upstairs so thats why it was so cheap & they were bringing it down gradually.
Also loads of make-up all half the clearance price, a few toys, loads of NO7 sun lotion, loads of botanics body lotion for around £1.
All between the main doors at the front.

hi sonee,would you mind tellin me where hanley & festival are?ta ooh & all the reduced botanics stuff at the traff takes the 100 pointer(& they never notice if you swipe a couple extra mags there either lol)
I got a telling off for mums over 60's card & her pregnancy 750 pointer today(the mean male manager:eek:)..I didn't have the nerve to say it was her voucher!!!

Wish I hadn't looked on the thread now I ordered the sony mp3 player a couple of weeks ago when it was £43.00 (?) and if I had waited it would have been £23 . . . I hate that and it's not very money saving ....... Arrrrgggghhhhh

i know it is only august but does anybody know when the stores (&online) start selling the 3for2 xmas pressies? also is there always a triple points weekend online before christmas that is worth waiting for?

Every year elizabeth arden sell these makeup sets that you can only buy when you buy or more products. does anybody know when these will hit the shops as there are a couple of arden skincare products i am running low on & the makeup set would make a nice xmas pressie for my mother in law. the estee lauder one is much nicer but i think it has to be purchased with perfume can anybody confirm this for me? Do boots.com have these sets too?
