Hi, I bought a great toothbrush today which is on a special offer (also on the website so not store specific).

It's the Oral B Professional Care 8500 Deluxe which should be £89.99.

    http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1052271&classificationid=1017887

It is in the sale at £44.99 which is a bargain BUT ALSO from the parenting club I had a voucher for extra 2,000 points with this particular toothbrush so that makes it £24.99 really.

So £24.99 for an £89.99 toothbrush!

Hmmmmm, I don't need a new toothbrush and it's a bit of a random gift to give somebody for xmas so just need to figure out what to do with it now :p

Anyway hope that helps somebody who does actually need a new toothbrush and has one of those parenting club vouchers!

  • In my Boots today I got 2 smaller packs (12's) of Nurofen Plus which are good for joint pain for £1.12 down from £2.45. I asked and it's because smaller packs of some types of Nurofen are being discontinued so this should be nationwide!

Today I also got 2 Avene gift sets ... they are gorgeous red sturdy cosmetic cases with 4 Avene products inside. They were reduced to £10 from £20.

I worked out that the original price of just the 4 products inside were valued at over £30 and the cases are lovely!

I havent tried these products yet but am thinking about keeping one for myself as a treat and giving the other one as a xmas gift.

I was really disappointed though that the 20% of all baby has now finished - I really thought it was till the end of this month and I had a list of things I needed to get.

What a shame when just 2 days ago everything had 20% off AND triple points - I wish I had made more of it at the time!
  • Been into Chesterfield Boots today again. Shelves were clear of clearance items but my sis and I were lucky as a lady was just wheeling 2 big trollys full of stuff over! I got:

mum to be sanctuary leg spritz - 50p
mum to be sanctuary body wash - 50p
    diamond foot files x 2 - 50p (scanned at £6.99 each!)
Time delay exfoliator - free with skincare voucher

Also picked up some toiletries so in total spent £11.98 and got another skincar voucher. I cant spend the ones I have got as they never have the products in!!

God news though i emailled them about missing out on some of the pregnancy club points due to website issues and they have added 1250 points to my card hurrah!!

Just to say I have nominated you for 'post of the month' for your excellent work on the first post, and for keeping everything from this thread up to date (a mammoth task!). Its fab to just pop in and out and read up the very latest from the first post.
I'm really grateful, and I hope i speak for others too. :T

You're doing a great job - so thank you!;)

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone. I got such a shock when i read about the nomination. :D

    Thanks again.

I went into chesterfield today and got:

3 x Nails Inc london manicure set (should be £10+) for 50p each
4 x Pairs of Trainers for 6 - 12 months old (should be £15 each) for 50p each
2 x Prices scented candles for 20p each
1 x National Trust chopping board and tea towel gift set (should be £10) for £1.30

According to the SA they will be putting stuff out for the next couple of days. My advice is to go in about once an hour!!!! (I work near enough next door!)

I agree though, they very rarely have the good products for the £5 vouchers in.
Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.

  • Hi all,

Saw a sign next to the Ruby & Millie shelf for a free GWP. Unfortunately I can't remember the exact details (my DD was getting a bit bored!) but I think it was buy 2 purchases from their colour range and get a free compact. The picture showed something in a little leather pouch. Been on .com and can't see the same offer but I think it was the compacts for £12.

Sorry this is a bit vague but hopefully someone can confirm.

Also the ACM is giving out new points voucher for digital printing. This time only 100 points. I used mine and got 6 1hr prints. Should have been £1.80 but used the coupon from the back of the mag and got it for 30p plus 100pts. The point I am trying to get to is that I didn't read the coupon properly and think it may say a minimum of 10 prints but I only did 6 so a potential glitch? Again, maybe someone can confirm. The 2 and 5 day printing vouchers definitely say minimum of 10 prints for 100 points
