In Boots, Royals Southend today I managed to get the following bargains:

Metallic Pink vanity case containing 8 (i think) bottles of various aromatherapy creams/oils etc - realy nice xmas pressie - down to £5 from £15

Sachet of 18 treatments for jugs of water (it removes any bacteria and adds minerals and purifies) reduced form £2.99 to 2p

    That had lots of both.....

  • Ugh, I'd just typed a whole message and got the dreaded 'Page cannot be displayed' when I submitted!

Anyway, had a good boots day today,

1st shop - small boots, got:
    - scar reduction gel, mum got some from clearance last week for £2.99 and it's really good so asked me to look for some more, got last box for 50p!! Usually £12.99 so bit of a bargain, and no use by date!
    - Viva vapouriser pads, pack of 7 for 10p a box, I use these so got 4 boxes! as they are usually £2.75 a box.
    - brush away thingys, pack of 12, 30p a pack, got 3 packs as mum likes these.
    - cost £1.80

2nd shop - small boots (had to go back for more bargains!), got:
    - told mum about the brush away things as they still had some left, got 3 more packs.
    - cost 90p

3rd shop - big boots, got:
    - Time Delay hand cream with skincare voucher.
    - cost 0p

4th shop - big boots, got:
    - basic baby shampoo 48p (for me...I don't have a baby!)
    - basic conditioner 32p
    - coconut and almond oil intensive conditioner £1.99 for a massive tub!
    - coconut and almond oil leave in conditioner £1.29
    - dotty folding travel mirror from clearance 75p
    - shapers pasta salad reduced to 75p
    - cost £5.42 and got another skincare voucher (only realised when I got home and checked receipt that SA must have thought both basics bottles were the same, as 2 conditioners on receipt and no baby shampoo! Just glad it was the cheaper item, even if it is only a few pence.)

You can probably tell I'd just been to the hairdressers so was on a 'looking after my hair' kick!! :p (Even though I've got a cupboard full of more expensive products , when bought on offer obviously!! ) I've read some bad things about shampoo being drying for hair so thought once in a while baby shampoo is probably gentler, plus it comes in for washing make up brushes! Also read a lot about silicones in hair products so thought I'd go for some with none of very few in!

Anyway...back on topic, had a good shop today I reckon!

Oo agree with you Bargainhuntergal, I tend to wash my hair daily (it gets icky otherwise) but this stresses the hair, so I go on a baby shampoo frenzy then with a weekly conditioner left in for 10mins on weekends to soothe the dryness (doesn't help that i keep colouring my hair with all the bargain hair dyes boots offers!) :D

Guess what girlies, I had a rummage in my pile of "stuffs for pressies" as I'm seeing a friend for a "welcome back after minor surgery" BBQ, and decided a bit of Sanctuary pamper bag was in order... there's only a lone £3 off voucher still inside!!!! Pulled it out with delight, the voucher runs out tomorrow!!!! Guess who's off to Boots then ;)

    Hi all,

I've not really had a proper Boots fix since Tuesday when I brought a mini spray bottle. Still not used 4 of my skincare vouchers as they never have any of the cheaper items in stock.

Have collected photos though using up most of my £2 digital printing vouchers.

Also got a few free perfume samples.
