    In Boots, Royals Southend today I managed to get the following bargains:

    Metallic Pink vanity case containing 8 (i think) bottles of various aromatherapy creams/oils etc - realy nice xmas pressie - down to £5 from £15

    Sachet of 18 treatments for jugs of water (it removes any bacteria and adds minerals and purifies) reduced form £2.99 to 2p

    That had lots of both.....

  • Ugh, I'd just typed a whole message and got the dreaded 'Page cannot be displayed' when I submitted! :mad:

    Anyway, had a good boots day today,

    1st shop - small boots, got:
    - scar reduction gel, mum got some from clearance last week for £2.99 and it's really good so asked me to look for some more, got last box for 50p!! Usually £12.99 so bit of a bargain, and no use by date!
    - Viva vapouriser pads, pack of 7 for 10p a box, I use these so got 4 boxes! as they are usually £2.75 a box.
    - brush away thingys, pack of 12, 30p a pack, got 3 packs as mum likes these.
    - cost £1.80

    2nd shop - small boots (had to go back for more bargains!), got:
    - told mum about the brush away things as they still had some left, got 3 more packs.
    - cost 90p

    3rd shop - big boots, got:
    - Time Delay hand cream with skincare voucher.
    - cost 0p

    4th shop - big boots, got:
    - basic baby shampoo 48p (for me...I don't have a baby!)
    - basic conditioner 32p
    - coconut and almond oil intensive conditioner £1.99 for a massive tub!
    - coconut and almond oil leave in conditioner £1.29
    - dotty folding travel mirror from clearance 75p
    - shapers pasta salad reduced to 75p
    - cost £5.42 and got another skincare voucher (only realised when I got home and checked receipt that SA must have thought both basics bottles were the same, as 2 conditioners on receipt and no baby shampoo! Just glad it was the cheaper item, even if it is only a few pence.)

    You can probably tell I'd just been to the hairdressers so was on a 'looking after my hair' kick!! :p (Even though I've got a cupboard full of more expensive products :rolleyes:, when bought on offer obviously!! ) I've read some bad things about shampoo being drying for hair so thought once in a while baby shampoo is probably gentler, plus it comes in for washing make up brushes! Also read a lot about silicones in hair products so thought I'd go for some with none of very few in! :rolleyes:

    Anyway...back on topic, had a good shop today I reckon!

    had quite good bootsing day today i got 1/2 priced clothes for my DS (more things being reduced to make way for new stock), 3 packets of above Pampers wipes(also pointed out to everybody else in area looking at getting 1 packet of wipes), 6 x time delay products with vouchers, free boots camera with PC voucher, 1/2 price baby rice with PC, Pampers changing bag with packet of nappies(gave nappies to cousin as got cheapest which were new born as my ds is in tesco nappies). I managed to get 3 time delay vouchers back also. Really happy

    On .com they now sell baby clothes and some of it is in the sale.

    Also spent fortune in M&S sale but thats another story:j

    Oo agree with you Bargainhuntergal, I tend to wash my hair daily (it gets icky otherwise) but this stresses the hair, so I go on a baby shampoo frenzy then with a weekly conditioner left in for 10mins on weekends to soothe the dryness (doesn't help that i keep colouring my hair with all the bargain hair dyes boots offers!) :D

    Guess what girlies, I had a rummage in my pile of "stuffs for pressies" as I'm seeing a friend for a "welcome back after minor surgery" BBQ, and decided a bit of Sanctuary pamper bag was in order... there's only a lone £3 off voucher still inside!!!! Pulled it out with delight, the voucher runs out tomorrow!!!! :eek: Guess who's off to Boots then ;)

    I've not really had a proper Boots fix since Tuesday when I brought a mini spray bottle. Still not used 4 of my skincare vouchers as they never have any of the cheaper items in stock.

    Have collected photos though using up most of my £2 digital printing vouchers.

    Also got a few free perfume samples.
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28
    Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)

    Can anbody give me a quick beginners guide into getting your freebies and points collecting please!!!!!!

    Can anyone tell me the best way to get the 500points on olay effects as cheap as poss please. I'm sure I saw it mentioned but just read back to page 50 and can't find it anywhere. It didn't work when tried to use the £5 voucher to buy it...
