Ohhh... will you let me know how you get on with the philips epilator. I wanted to buy one myself but wasn't too sure which was the best to go for.

Hi all I'm completely new to bootsing (only have 84 points, yes THAT new) and have just read this thread. OMG I didn't realise there was sooo much to it, my head hurts now :rotfl:
My quick question is has anybody checked out gloucester yet as it's not that far away from me?
Welcome to this extremely addictive hobbie!:rotfl:0 -
Can anyone recommend a tinted moisturiser?
Also, was thinking about getting the No7 tinted moisturiser with the £7 voucher but remember someone saying it doesn't work as it is classed as make-up.
Just wondering whether I should ring up CS and see what they say. I mean the voucher says £7 off any No7 moisturiser. And the product is called Tinted moisturiser, so quite clearly it is a moisturiser.
What do the experts think?0 -
i am soooo gutted
i found some nicky clarke straighteners in my boots today for £3.50!
i was like omg, but this lady picked them up and bought them before i had the chance
and it was the only 1!!!!!
there were curling tongs at the same price but i have shorter hair so they wernt really for me.
but WARNING btw they were not in the clearance section, they were with all the other heat styling things but with stickers on
so keep your eyes open!

Can anybody answer me this?
I bought hubby an electric toothbrush for his birthday with a voucher for 2,000 extra points but he wants something else and I need to return it.
The problem is, I have spent the 2,000 points on my advantage card already and my balance is only 4 points. Will I be able to get a refund for the cash I paid for the toothbrush as they wont be able to take the points back.
The toothbrush was over £70 :eek:0 -
This has been niggling away at me today and I wondered if I could run it past the good Bootsers on here.....
My question is....would you rather have the £5 voucher OR the 500 points from .com when you buy said item.
For example I have been buying things, splitting the purchase into £5 lots to get the voucher which I then "have" to spend on skincare things.... I may not even really want/need the original purchase to get the voucher which then can only be spent on certain things..
On the other hand, I can go onto .com, make up an order of ...say.....7 items (that I want) with the extra 500 points on each. I have still only spent the same as getting the skincare in store (with the initial purchase of "maybe" not really wanted things), I have still got the skincare I want PLUS I have £35.00 worth + triple spend points to spend on things I really want at a time that suits me....... not by 11 September as on the vouchers
Does that make sense and does anyone agree with me?? Or am I totally off my trolley???:eek::eek:0 -

I would certainly give it a try. I can't see them being funny about the points if the toothbrush was £70 and is still unused and you have the receipt. You were not to know that you had to bring it back. I'd go for it.!0 -
it makes perfect sense madjen BUT i guess not everyone wants makeup or skin care and might be buying something like clearance toys and getting the five pounds vouchers whereas if you bought them on .com which you wouldnt because theres nowt flippin left you would just get triple points which is nice but its not a fiver is it grr haha
suppose it depends what you're buying?:xmastree:Self Certified Christmas Addict:xmastree:0 -

I understand where you're coming from. I agree with you to go via .com with the extra points rather than in store with the vouchers on skincare that you might not even need.0
