Just got back from Boots and I'm really disappointed.

I had about £35 worth of stuff which I had split into separate lots - Sanctuary all together to get the free gift - the rest into lots of about £5 to get the free skincare vouchers but the Sales Assistant didn't have a clue what I was talking about and must have thought I was off my rocker with all the different wee piles of stuff.

I tried to explain, said my "sister" in Chester had been getting them - spend £5 and get a £5 voucher to spend on facial skincare. (Okay don't have a sister in Chester but I didn't want to say my pals on MSE got them - I want them!!!!)

She said she had never heard of them - must be just in English stores. Is this right? I don't see why it should be.

This was in Glasgow Sauchiehall Street Store. Any fellow Glaswegians got them in any other stores?

Its not just the English stores I got mine from Peterhead yesterday and they had the little signs up telling people about it. Not sure whats going on in Glasgow - maybe she's keeping them for herself and then selling them on ebay.

Did you get the moisturiser free?

i used the £7 off on the time resisting day cream which was £15 but think there was a lower price one just wondering if it made it free?

:rotfl: I think when i first read this thread at the beginning of july i had about the same and in that time i've managed to jump to £113 which is still not a lot compared to some expert :money: bootsers... there is a lot to take in but it does get a little easier if you follow the thread regularly.

i bet people are sick of me posting on here as i check it daily even though i dont get to boots daily - boo hoo. I go back to work in october though and WILL be in everyday for my meal deal :j

I didn't think she was telling the truth.

I have just called Customer Services and she said I should have got them and doesn't know why I didn't but she put 1000 points on my card for my inconvenience. (She made a mistake - she said she would put a fiver on and I was blethering that much to her she pressed the button twice by accident - that was nice of her)

I have just tried to call the store to see what they say but they must know it is me and are hiding - cause they are not answering the phone!!!

Got a voucher from the ACM today for a free bottle of Boots Vitamin E Cleansing Lotion with another purchase from the same range. Turns out they are only 79p each so really it works out at BOGOF! :)
