AM Parking Services

Hi
Am after some advice please regarding a recently received "Notice to Hirer" demand from AM Parking Service Ltd. My vehicle is a lease car and the lease company forwarded my details.
The incident apparently occurred on 09/10/14 (didn't see a ticket), the lease company didn't get the notice until 06/03/15, and I received it on 18/03/15. After reading the newbie section, these dates are way past when you should received the notice.
So should I just respond with the standard template letter, or is there an alternative to use regarding the dates issue?
Many Thanks In Advance.

huge mistakes in there timings , are they claiming to be members of BPA , and offering PoPLA , as they seem to have disappeared off the BPA list0
-
The notice is from Parking Collection Services on behalf of their client, AM Parking Services Ltd. It seems PCS are members of BPA. No offer of POPLA, just full payment in 28 days etc etc.0
-
yup , PCS are members of the BPA , however it was AMParking that issued the ticket , and they are the ones that should have contacted the DVLA
they are playing the old "side step" , if AMParking are not member's of an approved ATA , they can,t get your info.
using PCS to get the info , then claiming to be a debt collector is wrong
, details obtained illegally , as PCS did not deal (contract) on the specified land0 -
According to this thread, AM Parking Services Ltd were members of the BPA as recently as 15th January 2015, so they may have obtained your details legally. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5203486
However POFA 2012 doesn't apply as they have failed to comply with the legal requirements.0 -
just send the template letter to pcs and to am services, as KEEPER
no admitting who was driving
in theory they should issue a popla code, but I doubt they will
in which case put all of the sorry saga to the BPA , as I think they were members back then (not admitting who was driving, but as keeper/hirer only)
then come back and tell us what they all have said0 -
Thanks for all replies, will send the template today. Is there no get out on the dates issue though, as is over 4 months since the alleged incident?0

Did the lease company simply forward to you the notice they received? Or did they reply to AM/PCS who then sent you your own PCN?0
-
they have up to 6 years to pursue the driver (or the RK or keeper if POFA 2012 rules have been adhered to)
there is no magic wand get out clause, you still have to go through the motions and could be in IGNORE MODE for the next 5.5 years
focus on the problems, not looking for some "get out of jail free" card !!0 -
just a question , have AMParking joined the kangaroo club , can,t see them listed
not listed at BPA , but still showing logo,s on there website.0
