NCP PCN for parking outside bay marking

I stupidly parked slightly outside the marked bay at an NCP station car park, to allow me to open the door on my Transporter van.
The fine is £100 reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days.

Is it worth appealing, like your threads suggest if there is photographic evidence and I don't deny it?

Thanks

There are always photos of the car, and signs up! So what? All cases are the same and NCP is mentioned specially on the NEWBIES thread. Appeal after day 21 using the template, your case is the same as all NCP cases.

    This is not a fine.

I thought the newbies thread said already (as I recall typing something like it) 'your circumstances don't matter...these are always unfair'.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thank you - it feels unfair but I know mitigating circumstances are pointless. I look forward to having a go at the appeal

You'll win. NCP never win if you follow our templates.

Husband keen for me to pay and be done, especially as costs increase after 14 days from £60 to £100.
Can I ask why you recommend appealing after day 21?

I've responded to Day 21 on the other thread where you posted.

Tell hubby to grow a pair and stop being a wuss. Costs do NOT increase - they stay exactly as they are now ... £0 :)

I'll let you name me as the driver for £50:D

Great, thanks. I presume the appeal happens online, so no address or driver details provided?

If they allow online or email appeals then you can do it that way. No need whatsoever to mention the driver - indeed it is advised to NOT name the driver; no Me Myself or I, merely The Driver.

The 1st appeal wording is already in the NEWBIES template. It can be tweaked slightly along the lines of "I am appealing this PCN as the vehicle's keeper, having been handed the windscreen PCN by the driver".

I came across the Parking Cowboys website for more advice and thought I would use the appeals service to save me aggro, as juggling too many things at the moment.
This was last week, paid my money and haven't heard from them and only an answer phone message.
They are called Private Parking Appeals - have I been conned or is this a real company??

I decided to use Parking Appeals co. and they finally got back to me but said that when they went to appeal online, it was cancelled. I have checked and it has been cancelled for no apparent reason. It would have been interesting to know why, maybe it was just too much hassle to pursue past 21 days. Maybe ignore is sometimes a good idea???
