My brother instigated a change from Npower to E-on in early January and it has still not completed !! He is now in credit with both companies as they both DD him. Both blame the other for the change not happening.
• I firmly believe that the Reverend Flowers must have overseen this IT upgrade, shortly before he left the board: illegal substances must be at the root of this godawful IT debacle.

I have also noticed as i have only received so far two quarterly bills that they have charged me between the two bills 6 days extra standing charge. I know it only amounts to £3ish for both gas/electric

Both bill periods are

18 Sep 2014 to 20 Dec 2014
14 Dec 2014 to 18 March 2015

Still not been credited for warm home discount despite them claiming I have

There first email when I asked them said

Thank you for your email dated 30/03/15. I can confirm that your energy account was credited with £140 on 24/03/15.

There 2nd email said

I agree that the Warm Home Discount is not appearing on your online transaction history. This can take a few days in order to populate, and we are aware of some issues with the online portal currently.

Its still not showing up on my account despite email being 3 days old

They can't complete a gas transfer!
They eventually switched the electric.
They can't set up a direct debit for electricity on a coop bank account!
When you call you normally get some waffle about it taking thirty days!
I started this transfer in mid Jan.

USELESS!

I initiated my transfer on 9th January. Eventually received a welcome pack and was told to submit meter readings on 14th March. I rang old & new suppliers with the readings. Have today received a message from EDF disputing the readings they've been given by the Co-op. No mention of what the readings are. Just says it will take 6 to 8 weeks to sort.

I am beyond livid at the moment.

I have been a customer of Co op Energy for a few years but decided to switch simply because a cheaper tariff came up.

New supplier took over 24 February. Co op still took a DD early March and probably would have again in April if I hadn't cancelled the DD.

Believe they have/had 30 days to wind up my account and send final bill but nothing, have not been able to access Internet account since early March and in spite of successfully Registering yesterday it rejected my attempts to ENROL. The sign in box allows default Capital letter at beginning of line so have to keep changing it to lower case. No other company does this for sign in, bad IT.

I can't get through on the phone, they are busy.

I'm effectively locked out from any communication with Co op:o

At least they didn't get my DD this time! I think I'm due a refund.

I've only being with them 2 weeks but apparently i have an old account number even though i was never given chance or advised to open an account. Any idea what you need to do.....if possible without phoning them?? I've had no correspondence from them other than an email in mid-February with a welcome pack and what appears to be an old style account number.

To be honest i'm looking at 2 things now-

1) starting a complaint

2) look at switching away from them as i really don't want things going from bad to worse.

For the sake of £30 or so for me i don't they're really worth the hassle!

ahh think i've found it on website-

'Whether you’ve been with us for a while or you’re relatively new, if you have an account number that starts with MCCOE, you’re in the right place.'

Right i've managed to set up and register an account but now it's asking to enrol and request access to an additional account and won't accept my details. Haha who set this thing up??

I had transfered to the fair and square March 2016 but have since upgraded to the May fair and square 2016 which is slightly better rates and at least it is free to do an internal upgrade

Is this right? I have been trying to find out for 3 weeks if I can change to different Fair and Square Tariff without incurring the £25 penalty but no-one knows and the one who supposedly know won't call me back.
