Oh come on you won't be paying a penny - please read the NEWBIES sticky about how to win. DO NOT appeal yet unless it's not your own car (company or hire cars only mean you'd have to appeal now).
Wait for the first letter, all explained in the Newbies thread. Stop looking at the stupid £60 discount bargain!!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

When a new poster appears we have know way to know any thing about them ...... The members who have replied to your post are amongst the most well informed that you will find anywhere
good luck

thank you Ralph, i appreciate what you are saying but those members need to think that some people like myself just panic and at my age not very computer literate, they should keep the sarcasm to themselves, without making people feel bad, they might need help themselves one day.0

I havent got enougth time to do this justice, but you may get some abrupt and blunt reply's on here which may appear to be rude and nasty - but the objective is to make sure that you dont feel presurised into paying up and parting with some of your cash that would be better off spent elsewhere.
that is the key aim on here, and what people realy care about
Long gone are the days when parking attendants were just that, and possibly even had a modicum of respectability, the parking companies dont care about you or anyone else all they want to do is get you to aprt with your money and they will use every trick and pressure tactic they can, they will prey on your anxiety, they will prey on your state of panic.
Young or old these parking companies dont care they just want your money, these are the truly nasty people, these are the ones who want to make you feel bad.
I would suggest that you should complain to the car park owner, depending upon the timings of things, according to your OP ( original post /message ) this is the metro centre, Gateshead correct? From the Plain Language Commission:
