Thanks for all the help..... parents had bad experience with Santander so advised not to go with them..... anyone else had problem with them?

If I do go with them will it count if I pay myself as DD into a Lloyds current ac and use same ac for transfer and pay parents as other DD (also Lloyds)?

Just trying to make life easy!

    Many thanks

You cannot use DDs to ship money from one current account to another. You can, however, set up DDs using Tesco savings accounts.

The 123 account is just fine if you manage it properly.
