Oh dear, whose idea was it for Jackson Hedley to play Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream? He keeps trying to upstage everyone!

Puck, he's blocking you! (No, Igor, I said Puck. He's a character in the play. Put your smelling salts away.)

I told marmite it would not work, but did she listen? Just because she's Titania and they get all up close and personal, yes, Igor, you could indeed have been her Bottom.

Anyway, let's chuck number 17 NSD into the Cauldron of Doom and go and have a pint or seven of Ye Olde Fartinge Bishop, I feel one of my heads coming on......

Last reported in as of 9th, when I said I had 5 NSDs - but I didn't !! Rechecking my account shows that the D/Deb I thought went on 9th actually went on 8th - so 8th wasn't an NSD after all.

    Since then....
    10th - spent on a DVD
    11th - spent on a DVD
12th - bought a belated birthday pressie for DS1 and Mum's birthday pressie ready for 1st May
13th - D/Deb for phone & broadband finally went out
14th - paid bus fare home from town after looking after GD4 for a couple of hours (DS1 gave me a lift in as he wanted to do some shopping, which saved me 30p!)
    15th - NSD #5
    16th - NSD #6
17th - allowable spends only, so NSD #7
    18th - NSD #8
    19th - NSD #9
20th - allowable spends only, so NSD #10
21st - allowable spends only, so NSD #11
    22nd - NSD #12
    23rd - NSD #13
24th - allowable spends only, so NSD #14
25th - NSD #15. Target for month met, and NSDs in-a-row target smashed as this makes 11 :T
26th - spend on some storage for craft items I'm currently sorting. What I wanted is getting harder to track down and more expensive (meant for storing 35mm slides in files), but I managed to grab a part pack of 60 (from a pack of 100) for less than it would have cost me for 20 at the next cheapest option ;)

I'm not setting a second target, but will carry on nabbing as many as I can - still 1 D/deb to go though, so won't be more than another 3 at best.

  • How dare you cast nasturtiums on my femininity! I am all woman, right down to the pink lace trim on my undermentionables! I just have a heightened sense of style and my knees have been mentioned in Court circulars the length and breadth of Nagasaki. (Flounces off all offended, trips over Bottom' s donkey head and ends up on the floor displaying said pink lace trim on undermentionables.)

nargle I was in no way implying that you were in any way not 100% all woman.....I was implying that you were in cahoots with scotmum to nobble the prize.

scotmum I don't know, but someone was spreading vicious rumours about you (and others),all hoping to get their greedy paws on the prize.

I hang my head in shame. :(:(:(

Who did win anyway?I passed out after having one too many pilchard and potted shrimp vodka shots, and that was at about 6.30 pm (well before the competition started).... :o

I thought I would have time to update today, but it's the last day with the ODs -they go tomorrow,so the 'pooter taketh second place.

I see that the nsds in pouring in thick and fast.Well done everyone, yay and double yay to all of you!
Thank goodness that Knit Witch managed to knit us another Cauldron in extra quick time. :j

I've got to go to bed though,I needs my beauty sleep. :)

    Update tomorrow.
  • nargle I never want to hear the words 'Igor' and 'bottom' in the same sentence again.Ever.Please.
