Welcome Jonesy88! :hello:
Wow,no half measures with you.
I have the same problem: impulse spends.
Have you thought about leaving your money at home when you go out, taking just what you need ie bus money?
Start a treats fund.It might help with the impulse buysYou could treat yourself weekly/monthly.You still get to do some 'frittering' but it's more controlled. What do you tend to impulse buy in general?A good incentive to not buy something is to work out how many hours you'd have to work to pay for it.
As for the works canteen: packed lunches!Don't expect to change overnight. If you work a five day week, you could aim to take in a packed lunch three days a week for a start?
Also, have you totted up what you spend at the canteen in a typical month?
I hope that you enjoy the challenge.
Now,let's see if I can find you a coffee mug.Budge up everyone,we have a newbie! :j0 -
Can I have a target of just 6 for April please, as I won't be around for much of it. And 3 in-a-row. ThanksLetting Go NST #17

Consolation prize(The donkey's head from A Midsummer Night's Dream) Calm down Hubert,it's ok,we're not using your head...
Hubert's not very happy....
I do like your suggestions though.I might have to change it,if Hubert goes into a big sulk and refuses to wear a nappy. :eek:0 -

I know.Didn't they change it a year or so ago already?Nargleblast wrote: »Eye of newt, toe of frog, wool of bat and tongue of dog....Igor, did you by any chance make this soup?
The Sacred 'Shakespeare's Chef's Special Soup' Recipe, handed down generation after generation. That's right,Igor is the last known descendant and a loyal family member, proud to serve the traditional, and some would say, inedible,Shakespearian fare so beloved in times gone by.
Aren't we lucky?....pass me a bucket please.0 -
Can I join please with a target of 16?
Local shop spends and buying groceries daily or every other day, that is my downfall! Direct debits and school expenses will not count as the school likes to notify you the day before money is due.
This is my first challenge!
Thank you x0 -
