That is very confusing, she hasn't made it clear either way whether or not she has sold your flat. I would tell her that you will be keeping the rent to one side until she confirms in writing what is going on and who you should be paying rent to.wickedchef123 wrote: »But her last text was --
It was not on the market. The person who rang me provides finance so the house is part of a seperate arrangement.
I have asked for more information dont quite understand it all?0 -
She is not even responding now so I dont know where we stand or what the situation is.0

Just had a message saying Your tenancy is safe dont worry. You can deal with the guy who rang me as he is in the process of transferring the property in his name. Ill let you know when this is done. the energy man who is coming is beneficial to me.0

You calmly & politely ask (write him a letter or send email if possible) the new man for his name, address & bank details & proof he has bought it: You want those in writing, on a piece of paper.. Until he provides those your old landlady is still responsible.
Do not start paying new person until you get proof. Call Shelter 0808 800 4444 for advice if not sure.0
