How long does it take agents to put up SOLD board normally??

We put in an offer and had it accepted on a Saturday. When it got to Wednesday and still no sold sign had been put up my friend suggested that maybe they were still letting people view the property. When I rang up the EA she said they have to order them in and it takes 48 hours (she couldn't put the order in till Monday) and it would be up by Thursday. True to their word it was

Round here the sold sign is a measure of success so they get they up pretty quickly, however its done by a contractor, so sometimes it takes a few days as he covers other areas.0
