Strange layout - small terraced house with acre of garden?

Ok so this 2 bed mid-terrace house is confusing me... if you have a look at the floor plan you might see what I mean, there's a double garage which I can't see on the photos... and a 'loft to garage' and then an thin kitchen alongside the garage as well as a main kitchen in the house...

And then it says 1 acre of garden which seems amazing to me for a 2 bed mid terrace... the garden looks amazing but it looks like it could be shared between the terraced houses? But the description says 'set across the driveway in a very private setting and is approximately one acre. There is a large expanse of lawn, mature hedging providing a good degree of privacy.' which makes it seem like it's only the garden for this house.

Wondering if anyone can have a look at the listing and let me know what they think? I've probably missed something obvious

Take a look at the satellite image on Google Maps. It appears that the garage is separate from the house, in a row of (presumably) garages for the other houses. The 'garden' does not appear to be exclusive to the individual property, but who knows - maybe that one property does have exclusivity and the other properties don't share it.

Speak to the agent, go and view, and/get a copy of the title from land registry for more details.

Cheaper than some of the other areas around here... especially if you want a house or garden.

It looks like a conversion from a large house. The grounds are probably communal.

Well here's a link to an architects site plan of the property. The garden is shown edged in red. The garage is the hatched area.

(It seems that the property has exclusive use of the garden.)

    Edit to add:

It seems it was a stable block that was converted into 4 houses in 1974.

Have a look at the satellite view. The blue house symbol does not show the property. To the left of it is a long drive. on the other side of the drive, a bit further down towards the main road is a courtyard with an upside down 'u' shaped building. That is where it is. The garden appears to be to the SW, leading back down towards the main road. You can see a garage, and car, at the top of the garden. It looks private, but you can't just step out of your back door into it, hence the extra kitchen.

Looking at the aerial view, it's one of a number of properties set around the 'big house,' and like many barn conversions, each seems to have been allotted a generous area of garden land.

There's an incredibly bad bedroom layout upstairs for a 1/2 million property. One of them only accessible by passing through the other and the bathroom!

    I'll pass.
