Well Broadspeed came back to me today. What can I say but fantastic. Had spoken to 3 dealers to get their best prices and they came up well short. In all after all the extras saved £9020 on list and £5500 ish from the other quotes that Ive had. They are getting their dealer to contact me to sort the paperwork as it is all done through the official bmw dealer. VERY impressed.

Hi All
I bought a car off Broadspeed 10 years ago, (Nissan), it goes something like this:
You select your car and arrange payment, (which is usually a lot cheaper).
You get the car but you will be the second owner. (I paid with BS cheque and picked up).
You will only get the V5 certificate after 3 - 4 months.
I recon that what happens is; Broadspeed buy the car from the manufacturer as a demonstrator or hire company, and as such get a big discount, but the deal will be that they keep the car for a set time, (3 - 4 Months), hence you only get the V5 when this period is up!
I guess you ARE the owner as you have paid for the vehicle - perhaps some legal eagle can clarify.
In my case the system worked OK - although it took several phone calls to get the V5.
