Marty, is it possible your credit card(s) balance went up a little more than normal that month?
* On which they paid 4% AER!
It only seems to apply to that bank - and yes it seems to apply to both my credit card and current account with them.
The current account entry has appeared 3 times since September - the credit card entry almost monthly.
Given its my main credit card for spending its hardly surprising I spend on it - but the balance in rarely more than £1k (usually barely £500) and I always pay it off every month.
I might understand if I was close to the credit limit - but the limit is £6k. And its nothing different to what I have been doing for years.
It never happens with my other credit cards with other banks - albeit these are mainly used for overseas spending (e,g, hotels) as they are commission free.
Not worried about it - its just odd.0 -
Hi everyone,
Sorry if I have missed any questions. I have other accounts with other banks and building societies. I've sent my appeal letter to Lloyds. After receiving a response to that, I'll do an SAR. Thank you to the person who posted the Lloyds address and the Halifax address, but do you know if it's possible to just do the combined one, ie to Lloyds Banking Group as a whole?
Thanks,
Jack.0 -
The only single Lloyds Group complaints department I can think of would be Mr Antonio Horta-Osorio's office. With some googling, you can figure out his email address.0

You won't get a direct response from a CEO because their time is better spent on other matters.
However, all CEOs have got an Executive Complaints function who will deal with the complaint, usually in a much more satisfactory manner than the normal complaints team who have less decision power than the Executive Team.
Although I once did get a personal acknowledgement from a CEO on a Sunday afternoon, within an hour of my email to him. The complaint itself was settled to my complete satisfaction within a week by one of his team, as he had promised it would be.0 -
Complaints teams move faster if it comes from the CEO's office.0

Do we have any updates on this?0

I'm in the same boat, After the branch initially advising there was nothing they can do, they came back and I've been asked to provide proof of employment, address, and an explanation of all transactions so I can appeal.. I'd like to know whether you got anywhere with this...0
