moving house can I cancel sky

I am moving house next week and want to try cancelling sky, problem is 5 months ago my original white sky+ box broke. In order to get a replacement I had to sign up to additionally 12 months to get a replacement box
The new house can get virgin so would prefer to that.
As my new house is a new build theres no phone line and also in the deads you cannot have satellite dishes.
Also do I still need a bt line if I have virgin and also my my internet is with BT so I would like to cancel that contract
Please help!!!!

Cancel they are going to want you to pay off the balance of the contract .
Be worth asking them to switch you to the new address that will start a NEW Contract and once you are out of that contract you are free to move .
Likewise BT Internet you need to pay off the contract .
Its probably worth paying these contracts off and starting from fresh .
In both cases you are breaking the contract not the providers and that's why they want you to pay .0 -
OP cannot have a sat dish at the new property so will have to buy out the remaining 7 months of the contract.
OP: VM is a cable service, so no BT line is required.No free lunch, and no free laptop
