    With good reason because I suspect most assume their money will be transferred to Spain or something like that.

    If they knew its separate they would not care I don't think. Although I would prefer to be with a independent British bank.

    Well I have shares in Lloyds. I won't see a bloody penny from this sale as the money is going into 'General Operations' fund, which is a banks equivalent of putting money into a big pot and wasting it.

    1. Why would you see money for it?
    2. The premium paid over and above previous book value is a tiny bit of the size of LBG.
    3. The value of LBG shares has gone up by around 0.5p because of this. If you want to realise the benefits for cash, sell some.

    I like what I see on the Sabadell website. Lots to read in English. They are trialling something called Sabadell Wallet which allows a customer to use an Android phone with NFC at shop terminals to pay for purchases in a similar way to how we can touch a contactless card on the terminal currently. Hope the trial is successful and leapfrogs Apple in Europe.
