Due to upgrade and looking an iPhone 5s.

Went on chat cheapest upgrade was £34.50 unlimited texts 1 GB data and 400 mins.
I said if I went to Carphonewarehouse and took a new contract with Vodaphone I could get a deal for £25 I was told I would lose my number. Is this correct?

If your new contract is with Vodafone again, you will have to port your old number to the new contract in two steps via another network PAYG sim.
You can upgrade via CPW, but are unlikely to get as good deal as a new customer.

It's simpler for any other new provider.

    Don't forget TCB/Quidco.
