It is. I just scrubbed the walls, haven't painted in colours or anything previously to repainting it. Few shelves put up, easy fix.

And as I've already redecorated as asked (in the magnolia it was in), it won't require much to get it to better than the extremely unprofessional not new paint standard it was in when I moved in anyway. It wasn't clean either., but it will be when I leave.

Will just need a thorough spray, clean/shampoo, quick paint touch up and one kitchen sink cupboard door replacing (cost £20, bad pipework, leaked constantly did tell him but not officially so I will replace the door to avoid hassle).

I just hope the bed bugs wait a few months to come through from next door again. I spray every three weeks and have erradicated them.., for now.

Just hope the new buyers do a full survey for their own sakes.

Greedy landlord wanting to have his cake and eat it by not vacating the house before putting it on the market. Not a huge surprise considering he's not done statutory repairs either. I wouldn't allow viewings without plenty of notice and at a time to suit me either.

People like him give decent landlords a bad name.

You could always allow the viewing and "accidentally" leave a can of bed bug spray on display. That would have me running a mile.
Or arrange for a pest controller to turn up the same time as the viewers!
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)

I do tidy constantly but its not the deep clean/tidy I do for inspections and viewings lol. Yes pride Viola x x

Then I don't think you can blame the LL or LA. You have created a rod for your own back.

When I rented, I never tidied specially for inspections and we always passed them just fine.

I can understand why you snapped and why pride would be important to you.
