Sky £50 M&S voucher for taking broadband.

Hello.

In February I switched over to Sky broadband. I went through Quidco for cashback and the offer was for a £50 M&S voucher/gift card included. I checked with Quidco and Sky that the offer was for new broadband customers but who had tv with them and both of the replies were yes the £50 is included with the deal.
I have checked my Sky account every day since going live and there is no offer in my Sky account. 3 weeks I had a live chat with Quidco and they said I should get the card and they will look into it.
Today the reply was as the offer was from Sky I will have to contact them and ask where it is or will I be getting it as Quidco cant/wont do anything.
Has anybody else had this problem and what can I do to get this gift card or is/was it a con just to get you to sign up?

might be worth asking on twitter, using #quidco and/or #cashback etc hashtags, to see if others are getting same treatment..
Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)

Thank you brightonman123 for the reply.
I don't use twitter but it is something to bear in mind.
I spent ages waiting for Sky live chat yesterday and after 2 mins after getting through I was told that live chat don't answer questions about offers/rewards and was given a phone number to ring.
After 48 mins on hold I was told that it can take upto 90 days for the reward to appear on my account so I will have to wait. They never said that I was going to get the reward or that I was eligible for it but if after 90 days I don't get it then I never will and I cant claim it. I have seen on Sky.com forum site that people ask where are the gift cards but the threads/posts get closed very quickly as it's bad publicity for them.

I forgot to mention in my last post that when I rang up I asked about the price rises and was told that everybody affected by the rise will be sent a letter/email on 01/04/2015 but when I said that on MySky account the charges were applied when you look at the future subscription part for May and June and that I am in a min 12 month contract she just kept saying you may get a letter/email but when I pressed for an answer she would not commit herself and I get the impression that Sky c/s reps are getting a lot of stick from angry customers judging by what I could hear from the background noise in the office.

An update for those who are interested.
After lots of calls and emails about this and being turned down all the way I now have my £50 M&S voucher.
Only after sending an email to the top bloke at Sky did anything happen.
All the calls just said I was not entitled to the voucher but in the end a cs rep said after talking to her line manager Sky would give me a £25 credit to my account as a gesture of goodwill but I said no thank you.
Got the call yesterday saying sorry for all the trouble and they said I was entitled to it in the 1st place and I should have been sent to me within a few weeks.
    Well its all sorted now.
