I just spotted this review of the upcoming Galaxy S6 -

Previously I've been a pretty die hard iPhone user, but this is the first phone to tempt me to jump ship. I last used an android device years ago so I was wondering if anyone else has moved from Apple to Google and if they regret it or love it?

This phone is definitely the best to come out in 2015.
Especially when the Samsung Pay is released
You should be warned that battery life isn't good on this device. You will need to take advantage of the quick charging facility, and maybe keep a wireless charger on your desk.
It should last you a day though0 -
The S6 does look like a good phone, the new chipset looks good as does the camera. Also the fact that samsung has listened to users and made quite a lot of their own bloatware optional makes it a bit more appealing.
Can't really help with the iphone to andoid as I only used an iphone for a week or so and never got on with it... I like to tinker with my phones setup and appearance too much which is not possible on an iphone.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0 -

I've owned the Samsung Galaxy S2 , S3 and S4 but jumped ship to Sony when Samsung lost their way a wee bit with the S5.
The S6 looks good - particularly the S6 Edge, but I'm rather disappointed that Samsung has gone "Applesque" in binning the microSD card slot and in going with s sealed battery. Money for old rope - as they say given that Samsung has now joined Apple in blatently price gouging for the additional built-in memory
Whereas I could previously purchase the 16Gb Galaxy models and supplement with a 128Gb microSD card for my media libray, I'll now now have to inflate Samsung's vast cofffers for similar capacity with the S6 series. The sealed battery isn't a major deal breaker in my case however I am a bit concerned that the battery is apparently lower capacity than that supplied with the S5.0 -
back end of last year i jumped ship having had iphone 4 and 5 and went for samsung s5.
do i regret it? not really. apple interface is smoother and a little more responsive but samsung screen and google play store are better.
i like not having to use itunes to transfer or download music etc. much easier on android with drag and drop.
i prefer to have a micro sd card so i can control my storage limits and i like having a removable / replaceable battery and water resistant phone.
yep, on the face of it i will not be going back to apple in the near future.0 -

I've had the S4 for 2 years now, and had problems with the battery at the end of last year. The battery was swelling, so I spoke to Samsung who sent out a replacement battery FOC, as there was a known problem with swollen batteries.
The camera for the S4 is too slow in my opinion2021
