No goods from boschwipers.co.uk?
As title says, just wondering if anyone has used http://www.boschwipers.co.uk to buy any wipers?
I've used them for the first time and despite paying have not received my goods almost a month later. I've been unable to get a reply by email or an answer by phone so starting to wonder if I've been a bit silly.

Trader also hides their contact details by stating they are a non-trader.

Did you pay by Paypal? If not then call your bank and do a chargeback.0 -
John Bright is the owner of the domain, if you go to Optimum Web Marketing who the site says runs it then you can get more information from the whois for that domain http://whois.domaintools.com/optimumwebmarketing.biz including his personal address.
The web marketing site also has a link to his personal LinkedIn which says he's be running is web marketing business for 8 years.
Whilst there are a few issues with the original site it doesnt feel like your typical overseas site trying to pass itself off as a UK company and running away with your money.
With the above links there are several different contact methods for both his business and him personally and I'd try them before shouting fraud.0 -
This would put me off..Please Note that we do not answer withheld numbers and at busy times we cannot always take calls

Why? Withheld number are usually time wasting marketing/sales callers.
Sounds like a one man band operation to me and no real harm in that as long as they keep up with customer demand. Unwanted marketing calls can literally take up half your working day.
Most likely a "drop shipper", ie they order from the manufacturer or a distributor and have the goods sent directly to you without ever handling them themselves.
Long delays are ALWAYS a risk with those types of businesses.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Being a small business is no reason to give service like this or be given special "support".
How long do you suggest the OP be patient and wait for a reply or delivery - almost a month has gone by!0 -

By the looks of his house on Google Street View, he may be a sole trader but one that is doing rather well for himself but I admit from his own internet marketing website I am surprised if that's where the money came from.
The wiper blade site does appear to be a sideline for him, makes you wonder if it was done as a case study or for a client that never paid up etc.
I agree with supporting certain small businesses but they have to demonstrate something worth supporting be that exceptional customer service, craft skills, exceptional products etc.
I'm sure if the OP persists with trying to contact him they'll get an explanation as to what is happening.0 -

I'd think that seems a reasonable guess. Although it's by no means conclusive, there's quite a lot of outdated bits - latest "news" item from May 2014, test reports from 2012, and his model selector is a bit out of date as well. Makes you wonder if it isn't really a live site.
Might be leaping to a big conclusion, but if they don't answer the phone I'd probably try to go for a chargeback - if they're legit, it will get their attention for sure.0 -

Being a one man band etc, not an issue. The statement about ignoring withheld numbers puts me off because any complaint is likely to get your number blocked and you already know they dont answer withheld numbers so calling them will be impossible,Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

(From what we have learned it looks like they don't communicate in any form with their small business supporting customers anyway!)0
