Haven't been posting on this thread for a while now. However did not lose the eye of the Mortgage free ball!
Hope everyone is doing well.
Still chipping away the current debts alongside overpaying the Mortgage. Debts won't be gone by predicted Dec 2016, but will be dramatically reduced. At this rate we will be Mortgage-Free by 2032. Not far from target and when the debts are gone, we will have a handsome sum to overpay every month.SPC 08 - #452 - £415
SPC 09 - #452 - £2980 -
Can't wait until August when we will go into 5 figures yippee! Still plodding along aiming for 2024Mortgage free 04/03/2025. Thanks to this site and lots of overpayments bit by bit.
Next stop: house repairs, holiday fund, replace our very old cars, more financial security/early retirement savings.🤞0 -

Hi everyone, well my target date is end of May start of June.
I am technically on track but waiting to hear about redundancy date at the start of May. I can't really work out until I'm in a new job if I can stay on track with my OPs. I've also been saving the extra in my offset savings rather than transferring to my mortgage.
I'll pop back and let you know how I'm getting on!!!Mortgage balance Feb 2015 start of MFW Journey-£245316.06/Aim to be mortgage neutral 2022 — Target for May 2024 14 Year Target Balance MF50 = £89,535 — Mortgage Balance £106, 000—Target for May 2024! £89,535

Well done for resurrecting this thread, although if I keep up my recent level of OP's then I am a fraud as I might get it done in 2024!!!!!
Well done everyone0 -

Hi TM
I'm all good, hope things are going ok for you.
Managing to make op's broadly in the range I wanted to, EF not building as quickly as I would like (blummin holidays) but can't complain otherwise.
Made some good sales on eBay recently by finally clearing out the babies stuff (ha, she's 4 so hardly a baby now.... Hence the clear out ) which will either make it to the mortgage, into the EF or pay for a hen do later this year I've not quite decided)0 -
Going great guns in SJ Towers. I'm hoping to join frayed knot as an early graduate! Managing to average a net reduction of just over £1k per month.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......0
