And £4.00/kg in Tesco until 7 April (They advise the dates when offers end). Always good to have a plan B.

That doesn't actually surprise me as I struggled to find supplies last weekend. One store I visited had sold out and weren't planning to re-stock. Another store had plenty but they were literally flying off the shelf.

I was in Aldi on Thursday and the woman before me picked up the last two. I saw an employee drag out a trolley of fresh meat from warehouse and spotted he had a case of leg lambs on board so stopped him mid-aisle lol

He explained this was the last case before Easter. It contained just 8 legs and I took 2 :j

Update. It looks like it's the HALF leg of lamb that's £7.75/kg and that it was the whole one at £3.97/kg that disappeared from the ASDA website for a while for some reason.

Update. I'm just back from ASDA Bristol, Bedminster. Lots of whole legs of lamb in lots of weights/prices. They were mainly at the end of the meat aisle nearest the checkouts, but there were also some in the lamb section of the meat aisle itself.

They had loads of cheap legs of lamb at my local Morrisons today.

I was very surprised as I've struggled to find them in Asda and I've always found Morrisons meat to be far superior to that of Asda.

thanks again meg i roasted ours on easter sunday and it was lovely...put in fridge and on mon choped all the remaining meat off....got enough for x2 moussaka so very good value and tasty
