And the oil and other fluid levels, They should all be checked weekly.
To check the head gasket and timing you not into a standard service. Do you want them to do a quick check or a full proper sniffer test and compression tests etc?
Lots of short journeys? That could be why its white under the cap. You need to get the car upto temperature more often and then do at leat 30 minutes of driving after the gauge reads normal.
lol thanks for the sarcasm, But when it comes to cars i dont know much and would prefer a garage to do it, I just want them to do the cheapest test to make sure its alright.0 -
Going to be costly getting a garage to check your tyres and oil and other fluids every week.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0

How would it be a wind up, I am asking a question on a forum in the motoring section. Why do people on this forum in every dam section love to try make things sarcastic or personal.
For your information.
I went to the garage to check, Seemed like the passenger side coil spring has snapped and was making for unpleasant driving.0 -

I'm not being sarcastic, or personal. I just really find it very difficult to believe you're seriously suggesting taking your car to a garage for them to CHECK YOUR TYRE PRESSURES.
As mentioned, don't you check the pressure and condition of your tyres yourself? Ever?
Yes, you should do it weekly. Yes, I know that in the real world most people don't, but even my wife at least checks her tyres and lights every couple of fill ups with fuel. It only takes two minutes, and if you really don't know how to do it, you really should learn.
What will you do if you notice one of your tyres is soft on a Sunday evening when all the garages are closed and you need to get home? Call the AA?0 -

I just bought the car on friday, The reason the tyres looked abit deflated was because of the coil spring being snapped. But yes i know how to put air in my tyres lol. But i may aswell get garage to check it all whilst im there.0 -
How does a broken spring make the tyre appear flat?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
