Vodafone Mobile Broadband - tearing my hair out!

I have mobile broadband with Vodafone via a dongle for 3G internet. Everything was fine until they worked on a local transmitter, since then I've only had 2G. I've reported it to Vodafone who after trying to blame in on my sim, my dongle and where I live even insisting I travel 5 miles away to see if I can connect elsewhere, have finally registered it as a fault. It is taking up to an hour to open and email and downloading/catch up tv is impossible. But they wont give me a timescale for resolution or refund me any money and its been going on since 5th February. Any advice would be appreciated as Im at the end of my tether!!

I think Vodafone are suffering on the signal strength for calls and the quality of connecting to the internet when out and about.
I can only use my phone at home now if i set it to GSM. Any other setting and it drops the calls and the signal strength drops constantly. This is over 3 separate phones/number also so not a handset issue.
We never used to have these problems.
I started a thread on the Voda forum, then found another thread from someone that lived fairly close and they were having the same problem yet both threads got locked.
The other person had been having problems for months. I assumed it to be the faulty battery dropping the calls on my S4, But when i grabbed the other phones i found they also did the same.
My phone gets used much more than the others so they didnt notice the problem.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
