TBH your salaries are very low, even with a crash you'd struggle to buy in a nice area. Surely you'd be tons better off renting as you'd be eligible for housing benefits on that income.

Sick of hearing about people who cant afford to buy who haven't even tried to save for a deposit and have signature debts "Lightbulb moments!" longer than the wait for jesus..geeez.

Maybe other people's lives haven't gone down that rosy road yet to be able to save up deposits... such as divorce, illness, redundancy, death.. shall I contine???????

what I am sick of is people making moral judgements on others. Debt can be accrued in numerous ways. It isn't just people going out with their credit cards and buying a brand new car, or gucci handbag.
How about paying for a funeral when you have no life insurance?
Or being off sick from work for two months because you've got a chronic illness and your boss is too tight to pay sick pay????
