Thank you Mr B, you beat me to it.
I am by no mean a pedant, nor a grammarian, but Freddie seems a very well grounded sort of chap, he writes a great deal of sense. Why, when it has been pointed out to him, does he continue to offend?
Is not repeatedly making the same mistake, and expecting a different result, one definition of insanity?
I am sure that EF is not insane, so why does he not address this issue?
I appreciate you were referring to his grammar and spelling, but I could not have phrased my views better on his distorted views on the church and Wonga. So, thanks for your earlier post and saving me the effort. :beer:0 -
Looks like its time to start filling Mr Pickles post bag up with horror stories.I do Contracts, all day every day.0

Anyuone know what happened to this, reported on Parking Prankster
http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/parkingeye-sue-parent-of-seriously-ill.htmlParkingEye sue parent of seriously ill child
ParkingEye have commenced action against the parent of a seriously ill child. As if the family do not have enough to worry about, they are being pursued for a substantial amount by the heartless money grabbers at ParkingEye.
In this latest case, the child was diagnosed with a serious illness and was undergoing treatment. However, she can become unwell quickly and require emergency help. On the day in question this happened and she was rushed to hospital on the advice of her doctor. The driver remained with the child throughout as she was distressed and was unaware that the parking rules had been transgressed until a postal notice was sent.
The hospital in question was Queens Hospital, Burton on Trent. This hospital has been previously reported as having misleading and confusing signage, plus a complex parking system designed to maximise income from transgressions. From the Plain Language Commission:

Before we all spend far too much time speculating about what Mr P may or may not do let's look at the facts that we know:
1. There will shortly be a general election
2. Eric Pickles will be standing again but nevertheless has to be re-elected. Probably not a huge problem as IIRC he has one of the safest Tory seats.
3. There is no certainty that the Conservatives will be re-elected/secure a coalition
4. Even if the government is re-elected/forms a coalition/whatever PM's usually take the opportunity to re-shuffle their cabinets.
5. If we do end up with a Tory/whomever coalition given the horse-trading that went on last time around there is unlikely to be any real action until well into the summer.
6. The PPC wagon will continue to roll
If I was to speculate at all then it may be that the permanent under secretary of state at the DCLG has a reputation for being a little more decisive than his counterpart at the DfT. Who knows? My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).

The Daily Wail further cranks up its bandwagon:

''It was the Tories who gave access to DVLA records to these Cowboy firms with their Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, now they pretend that they have forgotten it. Wait they sell off your Tax records and your health records.''PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
