Samsung D900 Bluetooth Problem

Hi there,

I have a Samsung D900 mobile phone, and there is a problem with the Bluetooth, it is constanty active and flashing away as if it is exchanging data when it isn't. This means that I'm lucky if the battery lasts a few hours on standby, not even using it.

When I try to turn it off as normal, the phone freezes and I have to either hold the off button, or flip the battery out. I've gone to reset phone settings and entered my pin but this is no help and I've searched the internet for firmware updates but it is very confusing. Has anyone any ideas on how to turn off bluetooth without having to send it away to Samsung?
