Booking flights advice please

I was going to take the plunge and book our flights this weekend from Manchester to Alicante in July. On skyscanner, Jet2 are coming up cheapest but you only get 10kg hand luggage so would need to add hold luggage. Ryanair work out cheaper if we stick to the 15kg hand luggage. Is it worth booking now or hanging on a little longer? If I was to book this weekend, would it be better to book one way there and one way back (euros)? I'm sorry for all the questions xxx

If you want good flight times on popular days, then book now.
Avoid Jet2 and their old aircraft.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
Thank you. It's cheaper to book one way there and one way back with Ryanair because of the euros. Is it ok to do this? xxxThe £1,000 emergency fund challenge #163 - £536.16/£10000

Yes.
As jpsartre says Ryanair is also 10kg, though even on the off-chance that they weigh your bag, I don't personally find it very difficult smuggling an extra allowance on board. If you really can't restrict yourself to 10kg, wear a coat with full pockets etc.!0 -
Oh yeah jpsartre. Where did I get 15kg from? xxxThe £1,000 emergency fund challenge #163 - £536.16/£10000
