Ability is there just didn't get his ideal score on the day
I feel all of this raw score analysis on allows those that have done very well to show off for want of a better description . Brilliant that those kids done well . But it's over now and time to move on with the next chapter rather than talking about it forever
I agree with bobs though some people may not want their scores out there
My thought on raw scores analysis is that perhaps they will be a bit of a guideline to those doing the tests 16/17. This is my third time through test and never applied for them before but have this time.
Mind you agree with the showing off bit for the kids who have done especially well !!0 -

Hi
New to this and was Gl test we have done. Any one got results from this they would like to share. We got B2
That was 117 in maths and 108 in English giving 227 overall score. Delighted with score but unsure if its enough for first choice as last year not all were excepted at this grade. Had scored higher in practice paper but was nervous on the day.0 -
Hi Shaz5 my DS got a B1 English 106 and Maths 123 he is a July birthday so no extra marks given0
-
Thanks top secret, its good to hear other scores for the grades as its hard to understand how they convert. September birthday here so no extra marks either. Hopefully B2 will be enough this year for first choice it has been most years except last year not all were accepted.0

Fingers and toes crossed Shaz5 that you get your 1st choice especially since you got such a great grade. We are lucky as DS guaranteed 1st choose with B1 but he would have easily got in with a B2 as well. Keep me posted come May0
