An interesting article from January 2014.

I suspect that £billions have also left Nationwide for the NS&I 65+ Bonds. It appears to have Nationwide slightly concerned hence their link on their website: http://www.nationwide.co.uk/support/support-articles/rates-fees-charges/nsi-pensioner-bonds

Just received a letter from Nationwide saying that the rate on the Direct Cash ISA 3 will drop from 1.7% to 1.5% on 1st April.

Nationwide took over all our Dunfermline BS Accounts which offered very competitive rates, only to now notify us that they are cutting those rates, considering we didn't want to join Nationwide in the first place, we feel very unwanted.
Cuts notification letter sent 27th February but only arrived 12th March - snail mail ?
